Eh, not really. I'm using Bhiner to buy mostly J-fashion type stuff (as you can tell from the pic) and I've got plenty of time before I need any of it. It's not that they're terribly slow per-se, it's just that the whole re-quote system takes quite a while sometimes. They're pretty quick with messages though, and the site is real easy to use. Overall I like them, just not for their speed.

The MC JSK I ordered specifically through TBS because I know Bhiner probably wouldn't process the order quickly enough. TBS responded to my first email, recieved and confirmed my payment, and ordered the JSK all within 3 hours of me messaging them. Bhiner hadn't even updated the cart during that time.

I think they've gotten a bit snowed under because people are saying 'fuck taobaoring' now and TBS seems to be the most popular alternative. Or maybe it just depends on the agent. I just had an order shipped with Cici as my agent and it all went fairly quickly, responses were always within a day, and that was without any request for a speedy order or anything.

You are probably right. I have Mrs. Zeng as my agent and she says they are overwhelmed with orders. She is general able to get back to me within 2 days but has been apologetic lately because it used to be 24 hrs. It sounds like the staff knows it though, so hopefully Susan will hire some more people.

Anon who had the confusing situation with Bhiner over the Krad Lanrete Phantom dress. Still haven't been charged and it hasn't arrived yet. Started a new order for the sailor kitten print because I don't want to wait two months for my other order, but am in love with that series. Got the skirt in ivory and red and the JSK and OP in blue reserved.

So I posted in the last thread (albeit with no response) about Dream of Lolita being weird/unreachable to my SS (Taobao Trends), and then I didn't hear from TBTrends for a couple of days so I started to get worried.
I emailed them the other night and apparently they had shipped my order the previous day, but that my missing blouse arrived at their shop the following morning...so do you know what they did? They called the post and asked them to hold my package so that they could repack it to include my blouse, which I thought was super fucking awesome because who fucking does that? I don't know if this kind of thing is a common courtesy with shopping services or something but I'm definitely not used to this kind of customer service. I expected them to say they would have to ship it separately and that I'd incur extra charges because of that. They'd already applied the charges from the blouse to my international shipping so all I had to pay for was the price of the blouse itself with no strings attached.
I don't know, I just wanted to share that with you guys because I've had nothing but good experiences with them so far!

Are you the anon who was asking about western game costumes the other day in your own thread? Because I think everyone kinda answered your questions then. Theres no specific company that really carries western game costumes. Their not popular in China. If your looking for Jrpgs you might have more luck but beyond you just search the game series in english and maybe even slap 'cosplay' on it and see what you can get.

That said I randomly came across this store the other day. This company has some random video game costumes. (Assassins Creed, TF2, Dragon Age) But its expensive and inaccurate so be prepared. Load the site in google chrome, translate it, and go into the 'other works' link in the side bar.

Which SS allow you to hold items for a period of time (and if you can say how long that'd be lovely)?

I'm going to add it as a column or add it in the pros section of individual SS pages (haven't decided yet). Example: you have preordered stuff that comes out in two months but you ordered stuff available so they'll hold them until the preorder is done.

Also, I'm going to add a reservation section to the "which SS to pick" tab so gimmie which ones you like anons. I think I've seen TBS and yoybuy so far from recent threads?

There's no official brand stores on taobao. I don't get why people get so worried about make-up from China. While China might have a lot of knock-offs, the people are not retarded enough to buy knock-off beauty products. I bought these since I wanted high quality, cute shoes. I can't say these really have lived up to that expectation after a week of wearing them. My main complaint is that the leather is rather hard, almost like card, and is not comfortable. I've noticed that some parts of the shoe are becoming softer with wear but I doubt they'll become as soft as the leather shoes I'm used to buying in the UK. There are also no labels implying that they're made from genuine leather.

Attached is a picture showing how the sole has worn down. There's also a picture of how the bow has discoloured from wear, though I'm not sure how as I don't know what could scuff it in those areas. I don't think they're scuff marks so I might apply some white polish to them as they're not coming off from cleaning.

The shoes also scuff fairly normally. I don't regret buying these since they're really cute and I've received compliments but I'm not so confident that they're worth the price. I suppose I would describe them as being worth the price in high street money but not in TaoBao money.

I'd have to double check if all three SS offer sal since you said small order but those would be the ones I'd go for since they're preorder.

This is a long shot but... I just caught this message on Bhiner: Order before OR19333 which haven't check out for second payment yet will be removed automatically.

I have a small shitty order before that point and completely forgot about it. I paid my shipping right away, but does anyone know when will Bhiner remove those orders?
