I actually know Liam in person, and no, I don't hate him. He might be very knowledgable about anime but his lack of social skills make him quite uncomfortable to be around for a lot of people. He does follow people around for long periods of time without knowing them, and without attempting to make conversation, and I've also seen him get overly aggressive in certain situations. Friends of mine have actually spoken to him about the way he acts around people, and tried to give him tips on how to not come across as creepy, but he never took any of this on board. I get that he is autistic, but at the same time, if he makes people uncomfortable they shouldn't be inclined to ignore it simply because he has a disability. He has been made aware of how he comes across, and has made no attempt to amend it.

Yeah I was gonna say it seems dumb to not like someone for not having friends. Sometimes people talk too much and tag along a lot, they are probably doing their best to make friends.

Sure if they're actively annoying then that's fine, but it's not really something to dislike someone for. I've started up conversations with people in the line for MCM and had them follow me around for the whole day - sometimes saying nothing and sometimes they just talk my ear off about every series, manga, game and character they like.

It's all good, get talking to more lonely people until you have a troupe and then people are sure to make friends amongst themselves.
