For what it's worth, if you're in the states you may take a look in to "Alapca Ranch Days". It's a day in the fall (September last year) where a lot of alpaca farms open their doors to visitors. Where I live, we are actually fortunate that there is a ranch with alpacas that does regular tours and they have been super friendly the two times we have gone to visit them in frills.

No joke. I found a bunch of photos from the one time I attended PMX the other day and was in awe of how few of the people I met/shot actually are still into lolita. So many "iconic" lolitas from that period have just moved on or gone under the radar. Makes me wonder how long before the current round of popular girls vanishes.
