Ive been trying to find helpful reviews but alot of people who write them are buying horrible lace monsters. I also question their knowledge on quality. So does anyonehave any opinions on Infanta/Clobbaonline concerning clothing? Such as picrelated?
Any bad experiences? Ive seen posts such as loose threads and a random off tag being sewn on to the front of skirt... probably on accident.

Ok so you're obviously new. Clobba and Qutie land are simply middlemen. They do not make any of the clothes. They just buy them from the shops and then send them to you as the shops they buy from do not sell overseas. You need to learn about taobao (try the sticky) and all the different shops, so that then you can google reviews on the shops. I have no clue where that item is from. Looks like Infanta to me. Try googling infanta reviews.

Infanta is good quality. Don't use Clobba, they overcharge. Learn to use Taobao and order through an SS. Also learn Google.

I've got Infanta's Snow White jumperskirt and headbow, if that helps? It's decent enough for the price.

The good:
- ....No random tags in the middle of the dress or anything. Actually I haven't been able to locate the tags, I wonder where they are
- Good quality lace on everything, quite a close colour match to the fabric.
- Embroidered tag (it's a hairclip) that comes with the headbow is done neatly.
- Fabric isn't stiff curtain material. I think it might be quilting cotton, albeit one with a slightly better drape. The ruffles at the bottom of my dress is chiffon.
- Decent ribbon for the laceup at the back too. (Can't recall what it was, but it definitely wasn't the cheap shiny one-sided satin).

The bad:
- Artwork was kind of blobby in places, to be honest. I don't think it's a printing fault though, because the smaller details in the artwork are clear, but their own name looks rather blobby. They may just have a slightly careless artist?
- Although the fabric isn't low end, it does feel slightly papery. I'm not sure if it's just sizing that will wash off, since I haven't had the guts to wash the dress yet.
- A lot of little fabric slivers and cut off threads in between the lining and the skirt. No loose threads for me to snip though.
- I haven't tried washing this dress. I don't know whether I should dry clean it or handwash it or what so that the colour doesn't run. halp ;_;

I'd love to hear more about clobbao, considering he sometimes has things in his store that are out of stock on taobao

I recently received Infanta's Dolly House JSK and I have to say I really love it. Everything is nicely done. The print is clear and bright, the lace is good quality and the length is perfect. My only issue is sizing. I needed custom so I could have more space for my boobs (about 10cm more) other wise I could fit into the L. When I got the dress, it was an L. It fit's fine, but I do need to wear a pretty tight sports bra to reduce my bust a bit. I don't know if it was a mistake or they were like "lol close enough". I've heard similar things about Infanta's sizing so I'd be aware of that.
Also it does not have any lining.

I have two infanta dresses. I bought them together about mid-March.

First one is this one with the vest. I have no idea what it's called. I really love this one, it's great for more casual wear. The fabric is kind of rough and thick, it reminds me a bit of sofas. But it's not uncomfortable or itchy. I mean more textured rough than uncomfortable rough. The skirt isn't very full so you can't wear super poofy petticoats under it, but if you prefer a subtler look, it works well. I personally think it's accurate to the stock picture, despite the weird colour filter on the stock picture. Measurements are pretty accurate. The dress is a size S, my measurements are like 83.5cm (approx 33") bust, 61cm (approx 24") waist, so I do have to lace it a little tighter on the waist but you can see it's still not very fitted because I'm under by about 7cm. I'm also 161cm tall for reference (about 5'3" I think).

Second dress is the Letters from Paris dress. Again, the skirt isn't very big so you can't have your poofy petticoats underneath but it will take more subtle poof. I'm 90% sure I'm not wearing a petticoat in this picture. Again, it's a size S and I would say it's pretty accurate to measurements. The back lacing is good though, so I can lace it up to make it more fitted to my body. The fabric is quite thick. The brown trim is rough, kind of like a wool or something? That surprised me because I wasn't expecting it to be like that, but it doesn't look bad so I don't mind. It's not itchy on your legs either. You can unpin the bows and it does come with both bows (waist and chest) as well as the little flower clip the model has on her dress.

Overall, I'm really happy with both my dresses and they're perfect for more casual or classic styles. The only issue I have with them is the skirt fullness, but since I don't really have big petticoats it doesn't really affect me, although just be warned that these particular dresses are quite narrow. Their other releases, such as Snow White or the one with the carriages have much fuller skirts. The dresses are pretty accurate to stock pictures so generally you can tell which ones are a bit narrower and which ones are fuller.

Also like >>6744578 said, they can be really weird with custom sizing. If you fit a standard size, great. If you need custom sizing then you might end up getting a standard size anyway.

I used Clobba this time because when I placed an order for the first release of Snow White TBR fucking took forever and it sold out.
If something is low in stock, do contact Clobba for fast service, yes it costs a little more but it's worth it.

>> No.6744610

I've got several dresses from them over the years.
The quality is really good, but it tends to run much smaller than stated (like 5 to 8 cm).
Especially things with no shirring, go a size up.

As for Clobba, he's great.
Yeah it's costs more than most SS but at least you know you'll get it.
No waiting 3+ days to have your order confirmed like TBR (and only for it to sell out before confirmation).

I'm actually waiting now for the snow white infanta skirt from Clobba. Apparently they're out in a small and I'll have to wait until the end of this month, even though I ordered it near the beginning of March. I don't mind because I don't need it right away, but is this normal?

I bought the Blue sailor style OP.

Quality was good, fabric is a little crinkly so ironing is a must. Lace was very nice. Dress was unlined but i knew that from the description and i was glad b/c i live in a hot country. Cute dress, measurements as stated were entirely correct.

I just recently ordered Infanta's Power and Throne JSK through TBSpree, should get it after the semester ends. I'll probably post a review in the Taobao thread when I get it.

I currently own this JSK and it's gorgeous. My one complaint is that it's a decently heavy dress (feels like the floral part is made of a couch fabric, which earned it the affectionate nickname "couch print"), and the buttons in the stock picture are just normal circular military style instead of heart-shaped, but other than that, it's one of my favorite dresses I've ever owned.

I also own the short-sleeve version of the blouse pictured. It isn't bad, but not one of my favorites. The cotton is pretty lightweight, but it reminds me of the cotton they use for kids' school uniform shirts, the white button-ups? The puff is nice on the sleeves, but the elastic is just a bit tight on the upper arms. (Doesn't leave marks, strangely enough, even though it feels like it would.) The buttons are simple but feel like they'll come off if you use too much force. The lace around the collar is gorgeous, though.
