anyone have a picture that shows the movement/parts in calliope's wig?

also found this, i think she had potential as long as she does her wig+makeup right. her face/teeth would look pretty good for him imo. My head canon for him doesn't have perfect teeth.

Asking for some help here
I had just bought some mehron paradise paint in storm cloud and white, I then mixed the two colors which came to a nice light grey but when i applied it , it looked sort of blueish, is there anyway to fix that?

Not meaning to drag this out, but i really need some help with that calliope wig.
It actually wasn't a self-post, honestly. I named it that because i was looking for a quick picture to help the objective of the thread along.
pic related, this what I look like. I may be new, but I wouldn't self-post without saying so.
But yeah, I plan on making prosthetics for the cheek bones and getting a wig styled for her, I just was looking for tips on the actual wig itself.

Equius and ARquis are looking like two great options as well.

Any particular variations of certain characters I should look for? I've got dem abs+chest and big arms, if that helps narrow it.

I actually already have cosplayed Bro many times. It's a very fun cosplay, with many opportunities for shenanigans, but it's not very revealing. I do not wish to sound "slutty," but cosplay fitspiration is some of the absolute best.

My current work in progress. Still need to style the wig, and get proper colored shoes. Also, the sword is just what was closest at the time of taking the pic, I do have a Shitty Katana as a prop, even if it IS a bit short. Also my first cosplay ever, so some constructive criticism/tips would be very much appreciated. I'm a little bit concerned the wig is a bit too big, but I'm sure I can sort that carefully.

I can't tell from the pic but if you got girls jeans don't wear them. They look loose enough though so thats ok.
If the wigs too big you can make a tightening strap out of an old bra strap or something. It won't look too big once it's styled correctly but make sure it doesn't slide around or fall off. You can also just bobby pin it onto your wig cap.

Let us also remember that amporas are also supposedly strong, although it isn't discussed as much as with the zahakks.
If you do a good Cronus you will get some attention from that considering the fandoms raging "why is he so hot hes not supposed to be hot hes a douchebag"-boner for him.

Took me forever to get the wig right after nearly butchering up the whole thing with my scissors to get it layered, and a lot of screaming from my dad when I sat in the wrong place and worked on fixing up the frame for those glasses.

Anyways, my first try for Dave, how does it look?
And I know I managed to use a powder for my make-up that was darker than the rest of my body, I will get it fixed until when I wear him the next time.

I have no links right off but the first thing you need to remember is that when you cosplay a dude you are cosplaying a character that has grown up being told the world is before his feet.
General advice that are more obvious:

>Walking
Girls tend to walk with one foot put in front of the other, as if walking on an invisible line. This makes you take up less place and also gives a swing to your hips and butt.
When you're a guy you will want to avoid this, especially if you have femme hips/ass. Instead keep your feet distinctively on each side of the invisible line. This will make your walk more duck-like but don't think too much about it. Don't be worried about leaning slightly backwards. If you're used to walking with heels, then remember to put your heel down first instead of your toes.

>Sitting
As with all other body language, it is seen as masculine to take up space. Do not sit with your legs together and do not cross them over your crotch.
Do not be afraid to show the world your junk, and if you want to cross your legs then put your foot on your knee. Imagine having giant balls that you do not want to squish. The bigger the balls = the more the man = the wider the seating.

Those two are the most obvious. In general you just need to forget everything you've ever learned about not taking up space. As I've been shifting between presenting as a man and a woman for quite some time now I don't really remember the exact tricks, but try and look around on ftm-pages for passing. If you manage to get into the "im a guy in a guys world"-mindset things usually run smooth from there.

I would also suggest that you look at how guys and girls are portrayed in for example ads and photos for articles. How do guys pose and how do girls pose? Try and recreate any good guy poses you find and experiment until you find a balance that works for you and your Dave.

Anyone got any ideas for a piratestuck equius. All the ideas I've got are pretty basic stuff that they seem kind of uninspired. Tough brute pirate type, probably one of those striped vests you see in pirate costumes a lot, fake tattoos and bandanas.

Does Heaven always make her own costumes?
I was looking through her cosplay and regular blog to see her possible trainwreck of a plugsuit cosplay that she supposedly wore to Sakuracon today, and I noticed something. Her Asuka uniform, Catherine, and Shiemi all look decent. But yet she can't even make a simple pleated skirt and her other Homestuck costumes such as Roxy are for poop. So it leads me questioning if she bought some of the better looking costumes.

Because if she can make a damn kimono and not a simple pleated skirt then god damn.

Agreed. I think the jacket has a lot to do with both the fact that it is actually very logical of Cronus to wear one (considering he probably lives his life according to grease. His knowledge of greasers obviously isn't all that) but also because wearing all white on webcams can wash out your face really badly? Also if they're crossdressing white is a really unforgiving colour.

Since we're somewhat on the topic of Aranea, I got these glasses

a few days ago in blue, and I had planned to pop the lenses out and spray paint them white.

But I feel iffy about the shape. They're cateye glasses but I'm not sure if they're sharp enough.

What do you think hsg? Should I not bother with them and get an actual pair online that already has clear lenses?
