What I don't get is putting white eyeliner on the water line. I tried it and my tears washed that shit into my eyeballs and got all over my circle lens. Then I had to take them out and rinse them in lens solution. It was a huge pain in the ass because I had to reinsert my lenses and that created even more tears and it messed up my make up.

I always think that the whole "IF ASIAN GIRLS DO IT YOU HAVE TO DO IT TOO" argument is pretty silly. They do circle lenses and the weird large eye trick to make their eyes look western/European/whatever you want to call it. When we do it it just looks off because we're making our already wide eyes comically large.

It is why I also think circle lenses are silly/look off on westerners, but that's just my opinion.

I know that feel. It doesn't help that my natural blush concentrates very low on my cheeks and powers through goddamn any foundation or concealer I try, so if I apply blush above my natural blush my cheeks are just completely pink and it looks ridiculous.
Fuck I don't even care about being Asian, I just want my face to be nice and flat like a canvas but nooo. I've been considering something like reverse-contouring, where instead of shading stuff like the sides of my nose I highlight those areas. Has anyone ever done that with non-horrifying results?

Yes. iirc, she's Latina and possibly some European. This picture is good supporting evidence that most people look better with their bottom lid lined and their lower lashes not placed half way down the eyelid.
