Ordered both XL and they both turned out a little too big. (5'6'', 70kg)

So yes, my items arrived, they're all really nice for the price (very decent quality, much better than most things available in shops that people pay $60 for.) I'll chuck up some reviews over the weekend.

Update to lost items from TaobaoRing: it's been 3 days since they said they would look for them and e-mail me back and I still haven't heard from them at all. Should I e-mail them again or just keep being patient? This is just so frustrating. TaobaoRing has lost like half my order right now and then I don't hear from them...

No no nonono DON'T do that. I did that, and I use fabric dye A LOT... On this cheap shit from China, it'll just make a mess and destroy your fabric (even if it is a heavy durable cotton).

I received my order around Christmas time, and I placed it in November (SAL). I bought mostly "normal" clothes and a few lolita items. My lolita coats that were clearly PINK in the photo came to me as orange. BODYLINE does the same shit with their pink, it ends up looking orange. Pink is my favorite color, and I can't stand orange. Let alone orange isn't a great color for lolita - at least the shade that Chinese companies keep fucking up on.

It's not the SS's fault. They handle hundreds of orders every month. I remember Taobaoring (I'm the girl who is very close with Sidney from Taobaoring) told me that they once handled over 200 orders in one month.

I understand, it's frustrating - but with how many orders they handle and the size of the warhouse they have, mistakes can happen. Yes, it's unfair that you have to pay shipping again after THEIR mistake, but there's nothing you can do about it. They don't care for good feedback like those nice Chinese wholesalers on eBay do - those guys over there ONLY care about your feedback!

I know it's not fair, and I had to go through the same shit when Taobaoring left out an item from their warehouse. I know Taobaoring takes photos RIGHT BEFORE packing, so there's no way this could happen - but it's because I had them combine 5 orders (last order only had one dress, it was a pre-order).

I know how you feel. It sucks, and there's nothing you can do about it.

That is really fucking expensive. That's why I never chose Bhiner - EMS shipping.

I'm saying eBay's Chinese wholesalers (the people who sell massive shit for $0.99 free shipping) care very much about your feedback, at least the people I've dealt with. They always re-send items on their part or refund me $5 (even those the item was just $0.99).

When I made my first order with Taobaospree, which I later regretted because there was no SAL offered by them (this was in 2010), I asked them - what about those Chinese people from eBay? How can they sell shit with free shipping, because I'm sure shipping, no matter how small the item is - since it's coming from China is going to be MORE than $0.99. Lucy or whoever the fuck told me she didn't know what I was talking about.

If the items didn't make it into that box on the first go, I highly doubt that they paid shipping for them already. They don't weigh everything separately and stick them in a box, they stick everything in the box, then weigh it. Unfortunately, this means that without the benefit of the larger order, the items that got left out are going to cost stupid amounts to ship.

Get your GO organiser to argue the point with them, though. They screwed up and those items no longer have the benefit of dividing their weight through a larger shipment. They should deal with that mistake themselves.

I bought a few items including a couple of blouses and jewellery and the shipping was $7, which isn't bad, with TBR. I just shipped a small package of sweets to someone to the USA from the UK and it was also around $7 so I guess that's what you can expect.

That said, however, if I were to personally send a necklace to China, it would be about $1 - $5 for a necklace in a normal letter-size envelope. It depends on the weight of the necklace. You could perhaps ask your SS explicitly to do something like this, which is also what I did with my light package.

It has some cosplay, but not a lot.
Here's how I look up the chinese name of anime, you can look up the wikipedia page for it, then on the left side there's a place where it shows different languages the article is in. Click the Chinese one (that's the one that when you mouseover the link, it starts with zh.wikipedia.com,) and that'll take you to the Chinese page. Then copy+paste the series name.
Idk if that's the best way to do it, but it's worked really well for me.

This was my shittiest and smallest order by far, so it's really not impressive. However I am pissed off I didn't know SAL was charged per 1kg, so I ended up paying for a full extra kg.

I ended up making my fingers blister from stabbing the box open with Friskar school scissors.

Anyways, the dress I was missing was White Moon lolita's Strawberry Chocolate. I had to re-buy it (White Moon did a special custom case for me thanks to Taobaoring explaining the situation with China's customs). Since White Moon is really fucking slow with shipping (I actually ordered the dress in early January/late December), I didn't get it until now. I had to make another order (THIS ONE) because of White Moon Lolita. I wasn't going to pay shipping for ONE dress.

My order was 3 cosplay wigs, Vocaloid headphones, Chii ears (I know I can make that shit), some lolita purses (the candy purse was second hand) and Starry Night Angel's headbows and the lavender version. I bought the dark blue version in my last order, but was really pissed off when the headbows were sold out at that time, so I had to order from the shop (waste of domestic shipping) just for the headbow. Then I figured I'd just buy the dress in the other colorway, because I can't justify spending +15yuan for domestic shipping.

I switched from yoybuy for one reason: they kept telling me things I really wanted were out of stock, when they clearly were in stock.
Learned my lesson after 3 orders and went searching for another SS that wasn't about emailing back and forth. (I don't like being so personal.)

TBFocus is pretty organized in my opinion. 10% service commission included with the first payment, Payment preview, very simple shopping cart system that includes translation options, and very friendly service if you need to change something.

Haven't had a problem yet. When something is out of stock they're quick to say and happy to swap in something in its place.

The only thing about them is they're better for smaller orders as they have a 25 item limit. Which is fine I just use them for yearly wig orders and this and thats for cosplay.

Update from Yoybuy regarding the shipping to the USA thing:

Thanks for contacting YOYBUY customer service.
We just got urgent notice from the international shipping company that the parcels shipped to the USA will be affected for a month, and the 2 countries will pay special attention on the products that go into their country, especially for the products which violate intellectual property rights. From now on which lasts for a month, the customs of the 2 countries will open every parcel for checking to make sure it doesn't violate intellectual property rights. From March 20th, the shipping company who cooperates with us has stopped collecting parcels which contains those items because if it's found containing those items, it will be destroyed without notice and the shipping company will also be fined. The items they stop ship include USB dataline, electronic products, phones and accessary, replica clothes, shoes, hats, etc.

Now, we just found a new shipping company, the special line to USA forwarded from Hongkong, which should be no problem.
However, they charges the shipping fee by volume not by weight.
Perhaps there will be a difference with the shipping cost.
Would you like to wait for a month or change to this new shipping company?

That was me. I was gonna use them, but then I learned that Taobaotrends lets you use SAL, and if you pay via paypal gift (which I normally do anyway) the fee gets knocked down to 6%, which is the cheapest Ive found, so I;m gonna use them (frugirls is 8% + PP fees).

Frugirls has a pretty good cart system, too.

The only downside to them that I could see is, if your order is even semi-big (mine was only like $250), Frugirls will just ask you to pay before they confirm stock, and I guess whatever's leftover will be used for shipping or refunded

I'm gonna go on the assumption that they're just gonna as cheaply as possible ship it to HK (without insurance) then when they ship it toward the USA, they'll have tracking.

Unless they are using a truck or some other service to bring the package to the HK postal place from wherever Yoybuy is from.
