The fashion is meant to be provocative (or "sexy"), over the top and yes there is usually a lot of skin showing. The girls who you so charmingly referred to as "whores" are barely showing any skin besides a little leg. Do girls not wear miniskirts where you live?

I personally wouldn't dress like that to be sexy, I'd dress like that 'cause I like the style.

I've actually read somewhere that Japanese gals who dress like this are similar to the jersey shore girls and they are very promiscuous and don't think much of it while western gals imitating the look are more into the style itself. I like Liz Lisa...but the rest of the overall fashion with bleached hair and ridiculous tans are can go fuck itself. And I know a lot of hostesses and hookers are usually gal, unfortunately. I really like their clothes, but the other "gal" things are just too much. Pic related.

I like tamer gal styles but I totally disagree with you about what you said about agejo (hostess) styles. They have their own charm and to many j-gals the flashier the better.

The very deeply tanned and hot messes are more of an acquired taste I think.

If you've got the makeup down, then you're pretty much all-set.

I'm actually a size 6 or 8 but have to wear 10 because of my wide shoulders, and she said she was tall so I'd guess she has to buy larger sizes to accomodate for her length
You can't really determine someone's bodily size on the size they wear.

I've had some luck getting gal type eyelashes in UK Chinatowns. I've found them in London and Manchester. I also found some in Liverpool, but not in the Chinatown. It was a little shop in Quiggins, which is basically a lot of 'alternative' stalls in one building. I found them in a shop with lots of 'kawaii' products (bags, accessories etc.)

You can either go the cheap or expensive route. I like to mix the two.

I'm also UK based. You can get tons of really gorgeous lashes from eBay, and quite often their sold in bulk. With eBay though, I'd recommend buying glue separately; I don't trust shady eBay glue. The high street actually has a lot of Gal appropriate lashes for an affordable price too.

You can also go down the expensive route and buy Gal brands like Dollywink and stuff. It's really up to you.

Check in Savers, if you have one in your town. It's sort of a discount toiletries store. They have some cheap, cute lashes. They also sell lower lashes, which seem to only just have reached Western markets as I've never seen them before.
