question related to water-related photoshoots:

how bad of an idea is it to go in water with a wig?
fresh water? salt water? pool water?
I really want to do some sort of water related summer shoot, but I'm afraid to ruin a good wig.
Should I buy a separate wig for the waterworks?

The water won't hurt it. A wig can handle being soaked in straight up bleach for hours on end. If there was something harmful in the water your skin would be peeling off before the wig got hurt.

You will want to wash the chlorine/salt/whatever out of it afterwards, so don't use a wig you spent 40 hours styling.

It'll probably tangle, so you might want to test run with a $10 ebay wig first to see how bad the damage will be and whether you want to comb it out or buy a new one.

I like being picked up because I'm short and it's nice to be taller sometimes. Kinda the same reason I wear crazy platforms. It's not a strength thing for me - I mean, I expect my partners to be able to pick me up because I only weigh about 50kg, and they'd have to be freaking weak/unfit not to be able to do that, but I don't get excited about them picking me up because it somehow shows their strength.
