How much heat can a heat resistant wig take?
I just got 2 heat resistant wigs and want to straighten one.
My straightener goes as low as 150* but I think I could probably use a bit higher than that right?

Non heat-resistant wigs can handle pretty much anything under 180F, so heat-resistant wigs can tolerate much higher.

It was a cheap wig from Ebay so that's why I was concerned. it's pretty silky and seems okay quality though, would 220* be too much?

That should be fine, but it depends on the wig. the best thing to do would probably be to find a small section of wig and test on that. just try a small strand on one of the bottom/middle wefts that is sort of hidden by the other wefts?
