I think that most of the fandom has read the comic, but a lot of the fans don't really understand it. While I think her eye makeup might be a little heavy, I vastly prefer it over the people who don't attempt to put any on at all- it always makes cosplayers look so tired and washed out when they don't, especially with Aradias and Vriskas who are supposed to have eye makeup.
That said, I also really like this cosplay. The integration of the sailor collar looks really nice and smooth.

I usually make the basic shape with tin foil, then paper mache over it and then put a layer of model magic over that. When the model magic dries i fill the cracks with Spackle then sand it down.
I use to like the flat colours, but the gradient has grown on me so its really up to you. and yes acrylic paint.

I use floral foam as a base, with a thin layer (about 1/4 inch thick) of Model Magic on top. Once the MM is dry, I sand the horns until they're perfectly smooth. I prefer a gradient style, so I stick the horns on disposable/wooden kebab skewers and color the horns neatly with spray paint. Once the paint dries, I finish the horns off with whatever glaze or wood varnish I have on hand.

As for mounting, I use a screwdriver to make holes in a black headband and aligning holes in the horns. I secure the horns to the headband with screws, sometimes coated with crazy glue. For wider horns, I also use molly anchors, which offer extra stability.

But for Vriska horns, since they are so uniquely shaped, I suggest skipping the floral foam and just using model magic. Make sure to fill any cracks with more model magic/plaster/lightweight spackle and sand, sand, sand! The smoother, the better!

Judging by the design, I'd say it's a purchased costume pitchfork that's been altered. It may not be to scale canonically in relation to size, but really as far as quality goes I'd assume that's the only "shitty" thing about it. Otherwise, it's smooth plastic all the way around. Volume volume volume. Gamzee has big hair. The trick will be styling it so you get poof and texture without getting the freeze-dried hairspray scrunch effect. Honestly, I'd go for a base wig from Arda or Matchwigs. You'll get better quality hair from them than you will from some ebay vendor.

I would remake them, paying extra attention to your edges because edges that thick aren't going to blend with the cosplayer's skin and will look like masks

when you do your skulpt, use brush on silicon over it to make a mold and then pour in your appliance material. it'll give the surface a really smooth texture instead of that lumpy zombieskin thing you've got.

I'd carve in the swirls instead of painting them too
