It's a thing right? I never see threads here on it, and it's the only lolita I think I can get away with without being OTT. Classic was another option, but despite liking this fashion, there's one thing that irks me the most is...the prints. I know it's like the biggest part of it, but I don't think I can pull it off.

So anyway, military lolita tends to have solid elegant earthy colors, but still have the young-girly-ness about it. Post some cords, websites, pics, even some male uniforms if it exsits! I'll start with what I have, but it's not much, and some is boderline with country.

To be honest I've never thought of Classic as being very print oriented, just not a structured as military. I don't have any military and the closest I have are jackets like this. (I have otome mostly... which I no longer see around.)

Basically Meta released a WWII-inspired outfit that looked kind of nazi-ish in some aspects (I ddidn't think it was /too/ bad except for the insignia on the hat because most WWII uniforms looked fairly similar in terms of cut & color), egl got in an uproar about "OMGNAZI" and Meta pulled it. Nowadays it's an extremely rare piece.

I believe the series was called "Secret Night" or "Valkyrie" or something along those lines IDK.

Just to clarify about the series, the English name was Dark Secrets/Die Walkure. It was only pulled from the English site after someone sent them an email but not the Japanese, so it's only as rare as other popular Meta items.

Excentrique does nice military designs too.

They didn't pull it, they just took the listing off the English version of the website because some fucking idiots emailed them to complain and they didn't want a shitstorm. You could still order it through the Japanese side though.
The funny thing is after all that, a girl (apparently unaware of the dramu) later posted on DL wearing it and got nothing but praise. EGL is so dumb sometimes.

Man, I remember this. Lolita Secrets was bombarded with the amount of hate/love for this set. Anyone who admitted to owning it was deemed a witch and burned at the stake for being a Nazi, when several people pointed out dozens of uniforms that were more similar than the Nazi ones to the set.
