Sup /cgl/? I'm on the organizing staff for a convention that's being planned to have its first year, MAI con (MAI standing for Mississippi Anime Invasion). Its still a looooong way off, but just out of curiousity what do y'all like to see at conventions? What's better, more musical guests or more VA/internet celeb guests? It's gonna be in Oxford, MS, which is about an hour south of Memphis, so if any of y'all go to Anime Blues con, AWA or Kami-con I would really LOVE to hear from you in particular. The people who run Kami-con are helping us put it together, and that's a good up-and-coming con so I'm optimistic about this. Give me your input! http://www.mai-con.net/

I think if you're being helped by the Kami-con staff, you should be okay for the most part. Kami-con is pretty solid, especially for an AL con.
