I don't look very good in pastels and I love sweet lolita, but my wardrobe is mostly red, sugar pink and royal blue and I'm getting a little bored. I'd like to do some coords that use more colors and are still in a bright color palette, but it's really easy to get wrong. So, does anyone have any great photos (or coordinate ideas) using brighter colored pieces/accessories?

Speaking of bright colors, I had a question. I'm putting together a coord with a black JSK, an electric blue blouse, and I'm thinking about using tights that are the exact shade of blue as the blouse. The blouse and socks are a little bright but I don't think they look bad. I wanted to get a second opinion though.

'more colors' doesn't mean 'not those color at all'

Lolita fashion with bright color doesn't always go together, that is, if you don't count pastel-y bright. If you count out red and royal blue, I think there's only two more color that can be use which is yellow and green, which are even harder to find a good coord of.

And OP pic suggest that she's ok with the use of red/blue, just looking for more ways to incorporate other colors into her coord. So chill, a beautiful coord is a beautiful coord. OP might like it or not but others still can appreciate it. Don't detail a good thread.

I'm curious; where do you guys draw the line between sweet and classic? I'm seeing a lot of these co-ords as classic, although I've only been lurking for four years or so, and was always more interested in gothic to begin with, so I'm used to pastel-explosion-sweet. Was it different before? Some examples that I'm seeing as classic;

Classic and Sweet both come from Old School, as the other Annon mentioned, so yes, there is a lot of cross-over. To be honest, I have a lot of stuff that could go either way, so I just don't even try to label some of it.
