yeah I've spoken to her as well about commissions/schooling/experience/materials. Her prices are high, but unless the photos are just a total fabrication somehow, it's worth the price, so I am also saving up... I'd say the pin stripe jsk would be closer to 600, the green velvet, anything that has a lot of different angels to the skirt/bustle backs/detailing on the bodice collar. So mostly the top row or so, and the pin stripes, since she obviously took the time to match the pattern on the princess seam... ugh I love the dark pin stripe one... Which would probably be cheaper than the black/white one, due to full princess seams down the black/white dress which is a more difficult design aspect.

I have this skirt. It doesn't fit and I need to add some extra to the waist. I don't want to use the waist ties to make more space but instead could I use a solid color similar to the pink base for the waist region or would that not look right?

I have this dress... the fit is off (straps too long and bodice too big, even though I had it custom, and yes, I get fitted at a professional tailor, and my other custom clothes fit perfectly from taobao) and the fabric is really stiff and wrinkle prone... I've struck out a lot with HMHM unfortunately.

I am wondering if it is okay/polite to ask an SS to ask the seller to sell me the item for a lower price? I love the item but the price is too high for me, plus nobody bid on it for weeks.
