I was going to wear my cosplay as a Hunter this year and hand out candy to little kids. My first time ever, I was so excited.

Made plans to meet with my sister the day before to watch Silent Hill 2 to help get in the mood. She tells me my dog, my baby, was put to sleep.

Drove home to place flowers and newly-purchased dog tag on his grave instead.

Surprisingly quiet. I can't really stand most college parties and I'm a little burnt out from last weekend's cast party (I'm a theater student). I'm trying to save up my energy for this weekend by staying in and reading some creepy pasta. It's also colder than Sasqwach's balls tonight, so fuck going out.

Aside of not having any luck finding a wig cap (seriously - I don't get why shops sell Halloween wigs without caps), it was a fine day. My costume professor crossplayed as Inigo Montoya (her kids are also dressed up as characters from Princess Bride...on a side note, she looked like Weird Al Yankovic) and she knows about lolita fashion pretty well. I think this is the last time I'm hauling around a mau5 head because some asshole creep (from said party) didn't seal his grease paint and got it on my visor.

I had a couple of great Halloween parties over the weekend.

Last night, though, I worked on cosplay and played soccer. Good game, I had a great defensive game going on, shutting down their striker whom I played with in the River Cup. Almost scored on a long drive, keep made a great save on that, but in the end we lost 4-2. Our team has really come together this season, though, not getting blown out like last, I'm proud to be their captain.
I also had to sub out a bit more than usual due to cramping, had trouble breathing, still congested today, wtf

So that was my halloween. Just another Wednesday.

I've been invited to such game nights with them so we can spend time together. Except, you know, it's a draft so I have to pay money to play a card game I'm not really interested in (and so am not good at, since I don't want to practice/play it all the time. Because of this, I know I'm going to lose, too). Then we spend something like 15 minutes together while I lose to him at three rounds. The rest of the night is spent on opposite sides of the room, or next to each other and not talking at all while I go through this dreadful... ugh.

God yes. He gets upset when I've been busy all week and just want to sit around and talk/hang out. He's left me crying (from a bad day) before because otherwise he'd be late for magic and would be letting people down.
...Except he doesn't seem to understand he's letting me down in a different way when he does that. Yeah they're bummed that they don't have enough people to play, but they aren't hurt by it.
...I act like I'm interested in all of this stuff, and... I do like the art on the cards, so when he shows them to me, I just admire the artwork for a moment and I feel bad but I end up tuning him out. The piles of cards bothers me some, as well as the amount of money spent on those cards...

I tried to get into it, but I just can't do it. It's fun to do every once in a while, but when most of the people he plays with go into autismal rage if something bad happens in the game, and are otherwise being obnoxious or not paying attention to the game, it's not fun. And if I go out to play with him, I might play one round with him before he pawns me off to other players so he can trade or play with his friends since I don't have an EDH deck and he doesn't like playing against the deck I do have.

It's kind of depressing seeing thousands (not kidding) of cards laying around and fat pack boxes all over when we could be saving up for a new place or saving in general.

Halloween was pretty sweet. I went on a boat on the Bay and then somehow got snuck into a bar after (dunno how that miracle happened).

Like a week before Halloween though, my work buddies decided to be the Avengers so I had to rush modify this shitty costume and take it in TEN sizes and also I cut my wig too short and I hate it but it turned out okay. And then I found this Ravenwood guy from Jericho on campus and was stoked I recognized him.

Was great ti I got home and had to deal with some major uncalled for drama, went out to a them place with lots of haunted houses. Strangely didn't get scared at all even being the coward I am. This clown kept trying to scare me but, it wouldn't work. I think the way I coped with being scared was just saying "Hi" instead of screaming. It rained though thankfully it wasnt cold. I was dressed as Touko so only a few people recognized my costume. I got a couple pictures of it but, I didnt like any of the pictures. I noticed i'm extremely un-photogenic.

Oh and high pony tails hurt, A lot.

My halloween week was a washout. So I've been building an Iron Man costume for the past few months, get it all nice and purdy. So while that was easy, scratch building my gf’s rescue armor was not. I’ve been racking my brain and not sleeping for the past few weeks getting this shit done as best I can under the time period. Come paint day and my paint isn’t wanting to go on right and I can’t seem to fix it all.
Frustrated and pissed, I decided to go to a party to release some stress while my gf was at work. The part was fun but frustrating, as the my Iron Man suit is…cumbersome at best. They cancelled the costume contest and never bothered telling anyone. I had more than one girl grab my junk that night, which would have been great if I weren’t already taken, so even more frustrating.
Come Halloween day, I get my gf’s costume ready enough to go out, she wanted to take it to her uni, where they were having a small party and contest as well, so we went there and got second place to a zombie…..
Not a good zombie either. Now I found it funny, as when we walked into the room, everyone stopped and applauded at us, stopped what they were doing to take pictures, and somehow we got second.
So after this, my gf got tired of wearing the suit (I don’t blame her, she has back problems and even I have pains wearing the suit for a time, and I’m perfectly fine.) So we decide to switch out to go to another place afterwards, can’t decide on anything with our friends and end up just going to a rather empty bar for an hour or two.
All in all, wash.
TL:DR version; Iron Man and rescue got second place to a zombie and I’m not morally bankrupt enough to cheat.

It's never been that bad for me at least. If I'm having a really bad time (headache, not feeling well, everyone's playing fucking EDH ALWAYS GODDAMN) I'll ask if he's going to catch a ride home with a friend and then take our car back to the house.

Lately when I go I've brought a gamecube along with me or an xbox game and just played majora's mask or skyrim all night. wasn't too bad.

Also, finally OT: I worked all day and then sat on the computer all night. No costume because my card got cancelled because my bank thought a well known, oft-used online vendor was stealing my card info. Even though I called and verified the transaction and everything else. My Halloween plans all fell through, what with my friends having just started Uni, so they're all busy. So I just stayed at home and made chocolates for the kids who came around.

My halloween was pretty... interesting. I'm a swefag and we don't really have this trick-or-treating thing, so it's just another excuse to get drunk here. There were no parties on my campus, and noone dresses up here except for some slutty police woman or some shit, boring as hell. fortunatley, I was invited to a party back in my hometown where a lot of my old friends would be, so I jumped the chance to dress up and meet up with my old pals. I dresses up as "skeleton santa", I had a skeleton mask from a cosplay that I never fiished, and I just bought some shitty cheap santa-costume (it's already broken).

The pros:

Made out with 2 girls. Haven't done that since my GAWF days back when I was 16, and having 2 girls telling me I was hot was a much-needed confidence-boost seeing how I've been in somewhat of a dryspell latley.
Got to meet up with my friends. Me and one of my bros danced to shitty 90s music at 5am, was cool.

The cons:

I made out with 2 girls. I was drunk as shit and had no morals, so making out with another girl didn't seem odd at all even though the other girl was running around at the party. the first girl came unto me outa nowhere though, so I don't think she really cared. Another thing that got kinda "ehhh.." was that my fwb-sort-of-girl was there, but she was the one who didn't really want to become official, and I guess it felt good to get closure and to be able to say "it's really over now".
Also some aprty crahsers came in, they appaearntly knew one of the guys there but all they did was do drugs and try to make out with the host of the party. One of them as pretty cool though. I think a girl (one of the crashers) got mad when me and my friend sort-of made fun of her speech about "tagging" and how it makea statement dude, power to the people! Give me a break.

the worst part was probably that my old best friend was there, and I could really tell how much we've grown apart from each other.. we just didn't have anything to talk about. Oh well, it happens.

Good night overall, albeit I felt like a jackass over the 2 girls part.

My boyfriend and I went as Robbie and Wendy. Good drinking costumes. Only one girl at the party we went to recognized us haha.

We went to a Halloween party the Saturday before which was amazing - so that was pretty much my Halloween. On actual Halloween night I just handed out candy and chilled since I had work the next day.

Overall a pretty sweet Halloween this year!

The only thing that happened my halloween was that some freshman chick I vaguely remember hanging out with in elementary school came to school as Feferi.
A really, really shit Feferi. No wig. Used some weird fabric stuff as the horns. Only had a light blue skirt on.
It made me weep inside.
