Time for Van Buren. A clear drop in quality and number of participants here, and while City of Cities 2 seemed to actually have photographers who knew what they did, Van Buren seems to just have an amateur walk around and take pictures, resulting in a lot of pictures when nothing happen and few pictures when something happened.

Not to mention, blurry pictures and shaky pictures.

another piece of education: firearms does not magically killed armors. there was more than one century when firearms and armors coexisted, some armors were even bullet proofs (in the vital areas) but because of various reasons (like friearms got better, or bringing along the armor with the army is a logistical nightmare, etc)

that is not entirely correct. arquebuses wasn't that good or reliable, AND they were pretty much expensive. People still used crossbows in the time of arquebuses. The change appeared later with the muskets and similar stuff.
Also teaching someone to fire with a crossbow is easier. Although it's more tiresome to fire with a crossbow, but then again it rarely explodes into your face so there is that.

but that would mean that there are other people too who has to pay for breathing. That also means that you can sell your breathing (or more likely the lack of them) so you sell your breathing and go to sleep as you breath less while sleeping, so all in all you will make money with sleeping

Not sure if I want, but probably worth it if you have an interest in LARPs.

The characters sounds flat and two-dimensional, but the actual premise sounds interesting.

*Old story on /tg/, apparently not entirely based on true events, but the characters are ripped out of the writer's actual LARP.

Every time in the past two or three years that there has been a LARP thread on /tg/ or /cgl/ I have ended up hating you more and more.

Why?

Because the people who LARP in my area not only suck at roleplay, but they suck even more at fighting.

I mean the premise sounds interesting, but based on the description it sounds like a bunch of LARPers attack with boffer-swords against real steel swords - and that can only end ugly or deploy some deus ex. Unless they have reenactors with them
