It is cute in person, but holy hell, I can't stand the way it's made and the length is annoying. The fabric is thin and the seams don't match. Even at my height (5'5"), the hem reaches below my knees and my petticoat makes the same awkward bulk as in the stock photos because the skirt isn't made with enough fabric.

I have this in black.
Fabric is sturdy enough and the flocked dot chiffon trim is really pretty. The ribbons are quite shiny but I took them all off to tone down the overall sweetness of it and it looks pretty good.

I've heard a few people say that it ended up being quite high in the waist because you can't adjust the straps, so bear that in mind if your torso is on the long side!
The only major issue is with the bib part on the bodice. It seems a bit too big and I just don't fill it out. I actually got the 2L because I'm quite busty (about 40" or so) and I thought the M would be too tight. Not sure if it's the same for the M size but it's possibly just due to the design.

Overall, it's good for the price, you might need to do a little bit of tinkering with it but I suppose most people expect that from Bodyline anyway.

Ugh yes, I want those in black, red and white, but I just dunno bout the durability.

I bought some cheapo $5 sneakers from Bodyline before and they're not horrible, just very uncomfortable because they have NO kind of insoles at all. And they arrived with a few weird things about them, like a barely noticeable stain, the seam on the heel not being sewn all the way together, etc.

But hey, $5 shoes from China, you get what you pay for.

The bows are shit, cut them off and it's a lovely, versatile JSK. The embroidered lace is gorgeous, the stuff along the skirt has little flourishes and the bodice lace is embroidered with hearts.

Pretty damn good, and really durable. I played capture the flag in mine, dove through a bush, scraped myself up pretty good, and the dress was perfectly fine.
I ended up winning.

I just got this bodyline dress, my first bodyline dress ever actually. It's pretty good/lots of design for something that was cheapish. I may wear it like this for a halloween meet this weekend, I'm not sure. There's nothing spookier than skeletons though.

I find them pretty comfortable to wear. They feel like wearing elevated flats, like walking in flats except you have to remember to properly walk and not bend your ankles to the side. Also try not to walk on any really uneven surfaces.

I've worn them for long events and have been fine. I've worn heels that were more uncomfortable.

No. Whereas with the discount $10 shipping I used to get things in about a week after getting my tracking number (next day after order, sometimes day of) Bodyline will now hold onto your order until Thursday I believe. They held my last order for a whole friggin' week before they shipped it out despite me getting a tracking number the day I paid. It took 3 weeks to get to me. Whereas it used to take 2.

I'm pretty sure they're doing this on purpose to discourage people from using that form of shipping.

I think that's what it is, too. I have the old release of it in teal/mint, and the boning is all warped from basically every moment where I sit down. The striped fabric they used in the original release is also made of a pretty weak homespun weave, so one of the bone tips popped out after two wears and had to be mended with a patch. I don't know if they've fixed that in the new version, but it was really disappointing for me once I started to notice how fast it was starting to wear.
