On second thought the Scarecrow a la Chris Nolan's Batman films is one of my favorite characters, so maybe I could do that. Fun trivia, did you know they paid attention to many minor details, like buttoning his suit jacket ever so slightly wrong and making his glasses crooked, to make him subconsciously "unsettling"?

Would anyone have a clue where to start for a good Engraver mask? I, too, am hopeful for some iv. I'm guessing with it not being released in the US people have had to rely on the hacked or the walkthrough which is how I viewed it.

The story itself was really beautiful and tragic but holy hell, it had some of the best ghosts.

Ib is great though, it is different from Yume Nikki, .flow etc, because it actually contains dialogue and a story. Still RPG Maker though, and definitely great for anyone who enjoyed YN or fangames.

I've only ever seen this design cosplayed twice, one as the in-game rendering and this art one. She really nailed the shading, which I love to see in SH costumes because I feel like it brings the textures to life.

From her video, it looked like she might of been using thin needles. Like really thin, possibly knitting needles? and they were silicone to her arms. It looked like she built up a silicone base where the needle met her arm, spirit gum or glued the pieces in place then painted over it and blended. Which is probably why everything took her about 5+ hours to get in to her fabulous costume.

I could be COMPLETELY wrong but that's what I was thinking it was and how I was going to attempt to do for whenever I get the balls to do Engraver/Needle Woman.

Best you can do is look for some tutorials online about horror or blood and bruising and experiment.

Don't forget to look at the character image as well. It's unfortunate that there's really only the one, but it's quite good. Full body and everything. An issue people sometimes have, is that once a character has been cosplayed very well by a person (like Senil's Engraver/Needle Woman), people tend to start cosplaying the person's cosplay, as opposed to cosplaying the character. When you do it that way, you can never make a better cosplay than that person. You can only do as good or worse. But if you keep the character itself in mind, and use already created cosplays just as idea starters, you can make something even better.
