Question

How much is height taken into consideration for cosplays? I want to do Dipper from Gravity Falls sometime but I'm obviously not the height of a child, is it still acceptable?

Also gravity falls cosplay thread I guess

Ever seen a cosplay of a character so good that it kinda kills your desire to do the outfit as you think you'll never compare?

I remember seeing a (pretty tall girl, if I remember correctly) do a pretty kick-ass Mabel on tumblr. I can't find the picture right now, but if anyone else knows who I'm talking about yeah please tell me.

Also, here have this pretty terrible Gravity Falls cosplay that I found recently. It just... looks like they didn't even try.

Why does everyone reference Mabel's rainbow star jumper for cosplay?
They do know that she has a different jumper for every episode? I think that makes it much easy for cosplay, you can use a large and interesting jumper and it doesn't have to be the rainbow one. And I don't think being recognised is a valid reason.

I'm just doing a quick Mabel for Halloween with a friend, and I'm 5'6ish. Sadly he's around six foot so it won't be completely accurate to the show but oh well. ; _;
It doesn't really matter that much, but I guess being really short would add to it.

OP you should do it still. plus with being average height and all, I doubt it'd be that strange to see you dressed as Dipper. If you were like 6' or something that'd change some things.
