Never said that my version is better and I'm talking about the costume itself, the armor and stuff, not the make up. I also admit, that I'm pretty bad in wig styling and was to lazy for body painting. However because of the problems with my eyes I'm not able to wear any colored contacts.

TBH I don't get the hype over spiral cats. They don't make any of their hardcore costumes, they always take photos against the same boring backdrops and overall it just feels like your average paid asian models standing around in costumes.

They're all pretty as hell and the costumes are usually good, but it feels so flat and boring to me.

the only reason kamui got well known for this cosplay (and all her other cosplays) is because she explains every step she takes so people can copy her.

I know tons of people who cosplayed this character way better, but we don't hear about them since well, those don't offer tutorials. Also, kamui's butterface-ness works in her advantage since she doesn't get all those jelly whales who go hating on her since they don't feel treatened.

Oh yeah shaaaaame om kamui for being a nice person and a good cosplayer who knows how to make props and wants to share her secrets - she is one of the only big cosplayer with no secrets and comments like "its magic ;)" or "thats my specialty, sorry i cant tell you", but actually tell EVERYTHING.
I got good at making props because of her tutorials.

So yeah I think thats a good reason to be popular and known. For being nice.
Also kamui is a great alexstrasza, and so is the beautiful girl on your picture. Do we really need to compare people CONSTANTLY

I wish someone would do a good book version of Alexstraza instead of this stripper whore WoW version.

In the books she's described as being very sweet and motherly looking in human form, flowing dresses, flowers growing in her hair etc.

Its not that its 'the original' that made me like it, its just the look suitsh te character more. Alexstraza is a soft caring motherly character, the dresses and human form just suit the character way more.

If they made a supposed to be hyper sexy character really covered up I'd be just as irritated.


That and I LOVE the new Slyvanas model, its perfect.

I'm just curious, but what color would you want them to be?

For me the in game model looks like a reddish tan (one of the same skin color options available to Blood Elves.) I could see the argument for a light red, but it's something I doubt would translate well into real life.

Also, why don't I see Ysera cosplayed that often when the clothing model is the same? (And no, I doubt all the people that go for Sylvanas or Alexstraza do it because they they love their lore.)
