So bros wtf do I do. Does anyone have any suggesstions what I could do resolve this problem. I am pretty fit and tall and I dont want to wear girl clothing but i wanna wear something touhou related which would be sick BUT THEY ARE ALL GILRS except for that Rinnosuke. But rinnosuke is a pretty who cares character so I dont know what to do any advice would be much appreciated

Reimu: same outfit but instead of skirt, pants/shorts with the white "trim" on the bottom of the legs, maybe a red hat w a bit of frill instead of the big bow?
Reisen: Everything the same just swap the beige skirt for dress pants
Sakuya: Instead of the blue sleeveless top, do a nice vest. And maybe swap the button up t-shirt for a long bell sleeved shirt (frills optional lol) Then blue dress pants, apron, same shoes, and you could do her braids or maybe just one.
Cirno: Blue vest with the white shirt underneath, pleated, wide or "structured" shorts (NOT cargo shorts is pretty much what I mean) and add the white pattern by sewing or painting, keep the bow, and wear dress/oxford shoes in blue (hard color to find, but if not, brown would look good as well)

There's lots of options, and of course you don't have to switch every garment to its male counter-part. If theres a feminine element to a cosplay you like you can keep it, its for enjoyment C: A lot of the girls have maid and very formal outfits, a lot of them can be translated into an ouji style (like lolita but for men). If you need any help or advice let me know, I love cosplay, fashion and the touhou girls!

one of my friends cosplayed a male marisa, basically based off of pic related. basically, instead of a dress he did pants and a vest with the 6 gold buttons. went with him to the photoshoot and it was full of prissy autists. awful vibes.

it was recognized, but you have to realize that the vast majority of 2hu fans are coomers, so they obviously would've preferred to see a hot girl/trap instead of a guy. the (few) girls liked it, but the majority didn't care.

Just pick a character that wears pants anyway, like Wriggle Nightbug, Fujiwara no Moukou or Aunn Komano. Then you get to wear gender-neutral clothing. A wig is just a wig and you can decide for yourself how far or not far you'll go in regards to make-up/shaving/etc without losing recognisability.

Did a male Okuu cosplay last summer and it went over really well, a good thing to try and think about is what makes the character unique such as props or extra articles of clothing> who are you thinking of cosplaying?
