Bros what's their power level? What you like or love about LOLitas? What you dislike or find weird about it?

For some reason Western litas look weird to me, they look off, It's ironic because the fashion is basically European, But only Asians look right but also wrong because they aren't Europeans. Its a weird paradox.

It's because 80% in your pic are chubby or obese or trannys. The few normal weight people are either lacking in the hair and make-up department or never went beyond babbys first coord. Most western lolitas also don't know how to style their wigs properly.

The one in the back with the brown cardigan and ivory rectangle headdress is really cute imo, and definitely "fits" the image of lolita imo.
The one with the burgundy IW bolero is also cute.


For me it's not like western lolitas just don't look "right" in lolita and japanese lolitas do, it's just that it depends on what sources you use to form your opinion with.
Outside of japan what do we really see of the japanese lolita community if we don't go looking specifically for just that?
Japanese itas and awkward looking beginners definitely exist but we rarely see their meetup pictures and footage because japanese lolita meets rarely gets posted to the western online comm to begin with.
Aside from that the other japanese lolitas we're exposed to are mostly models.

A lot of people like to use COF as kind of a barometer for what western lolitas look like. This is pretty flawed because a lot of lolitas who dress well and look good don't post on COF.
A lot of good looking well dressed lolitas don't even post to coord sharing sites any more. If they share with a comm it's their local comm. They often just post pictures to their own insta/blog/etc. They also often don't attend a lot of meets. They've already done that in the past, made friends and just started hanging out with them outside of meets and simply don't need meets anymore. Some of them we hardly hear or see anything of even in the online comm, like they'll pop in once a month to talk about a release and then are gone again.
