Not really. The big issue is that Comitket is a Japanese dojin con, almost everyone is going to be speaking Japanese as well as everything there being in Japanese. If you go to Comitket expecting something like SDCC or AX you are not going to have a fun time. There are not going to be a bunch of big name people in anime and manga there.

Being a dojin con would the same if there was a fanfic con in the US. You were not going to meet the creator of My Hero Academia, you were going because your favorite fanfic MHA writer was going to be there.
