Shoes don't match but no one disagrees there. Seems like she was trying to match them with the black or dark colors in the cape but even with it on I'm not sure it works. I own seasonal prints but not everyone does and if the print is just "strawberries" and some flowers, regardless of intent upon release it's not somehow excluded from being able to be worn in winter. The color blocking balance of it is off. The white details of the cape are fighting with the black trims of HL. The pure white on white apron adds to the discordance.
To fix: the apron needs to be red as well with the white details. Remove the wristcuffs, they're fighting with the sleeve cuffs that are already there. But personally I wouldn't try to shoehorn this cape with HL, it's painful.

The hubris to start your own lolita brand when she was so new to the fashion, too, is just mind blowing. She just doesn’t get it, she just doesn’t understand what makes a good coord, the subtle balancing of colors and shapes and motifs. I’ve seen some of her early “coord with me videos” and technique wise they’re not bad, it’s about as good as you can do if you don’t have an eye for fashion and detail. She approaches it in a very organized and technical way, but that’s why she’ll never have great coords, there’s just a level of taste and artistry she does not have so she’ll never get it. I don't have any feelings about her one way or the other, but the problem with her brand isn't her newness to lolita ( I don't even think she's that new, is she?) it's her complete lack of experience in sewing and designing. She clearly doesn't know how to instruct her manu to make a dress that isn't poorly constructed because she doesn't know how a fashion manu works. That combined with the fact that her artist pretty much only copies and pastes photoshop assets results in a pretty poor brand overall.

I met her at RVR and she's a total sweetheart. I genuinely feel bad for the shit she catches, but at the same time, everything I've seen from her brand has major construction issues.
