I'm still trying to decide if I want to purchase a Premier Pass. I have until Sunday, but I'm trying to weigh in the pros and cons. If I get it, at least it'll secure me with a hotel at the JW or the Courtyard/ Renaissance. I would be one of the first people to secure a ticket to a musical GOH if they are able to bring someone that I'm interested in, and of course getting in early on Day 1. On the other hand, no one knows what the current state would be in a few months. What if they can't get any Japanese guests that is willing to travel and quarantine in US and back when they return to Japan? What if things do take for the worst to the point things start closing down again? Is it even worth $500? What do /cgl/?

They generally announce guests between May up to about a week before con. No one knows if we'll be getting any Japanese guests since Japan is in a month long "state of emergency" and that could be extended into spring and summer. AX usually sends out reps to Japan to meet potential guests since that's how Japan still does business, but how is that possible when the country is closed to outsiders. As much as I would love another Love Live concert featuring not only Aqours, but also the Nijigasaki girls and Liella, I don't see it happening given the current state of the world.

everybody knows that the golden rule of concerts is that if a concert is worth going to or not depends on how much you know an artist/band's discography of songs.

If you only go out of curiousity/got dragged to it and know nothing, you will be bored. If you only know the hits, you might be bored here and there but at least you'll be entertained.
