I usually tuck cutsews in. I am yet to see a coord with an untucked cutsew that looks nice with a skirt. They are either too long or too wide to be worn with a cupcake-shaped skirt, which creates a weird silhouette. For me the versatility comes from being able to wear a cutsew with different neckline types and not having to worry about the JSK straps ending up on the lace details (Colorful Star Blouse, I'm looking at you).

It's not even an early release, it's an early pre-order. I think what they meant is that they'll have samples on display so that the customers can see the new print in person and decide if they want to make an early reservation. This has actually been AP's common practice to show samples and take reservations at bigger events in Japan.

My personal prediction is that the 2010 trend will fade over the next six months, especially as SC and all the various taobao hype-train pieces start to arrive. gulls keep predicting an OTT Classic revival, but I don't think that will happen with the main classic brands releasing such boring crap for the past few years.

I think it's more likely the next boom will be early to mid teens OTT stuff (like DDC or Harlequinade, or all the hime sweet stuff). At some point the trendlitas will get sick of hunting for sweatstained holy grail dresses and want something new, plus there's no shortage of gold glitter shoes and holographic purses on taobao to match mid-teens AP so it's easier for them to coord it.

In terms of popularity I don’t think there’ll be much of a departure from OTT styles anytime soon - maybe not pastel sweet specifically, but people will def be seeking escapism for the next few years at least. I’m thinking frilly gothic revival - we’re already seeing Moitie dresses climbing in price again, they’ve been selling for like $500 in the past year, and I’ve also been seeing more interest in Sheglit and Boz. I think once the covidlitas realise these brands exist and are more difficult to get their hands on, they’ll become even more status pieces than they already were, especially since Moitie releases are so rare and Moitie fans tend to be hoarders. Also, the covidlitas are probably going to want to pivot from OTT sweet soon to show how “cool and unique” they are, and gothic will probably do that for them.

I actually own multiple wrist cuffs made from the same heart eyelet lace and they are my all time favourites. They are way more versatile than any bunny wrist cuffs and the quality is overall better. I know it's stupid, but there have been countless times in my life where even native English speakers use the wrong words for things, or aren't specific enough in their wording. People tend to be loose with their language. And I've seen companies/colleges/etc do it. So I wouldn't rule it out in French.

The new necklace is much longer than previous releases, which honestly kind of sucks. I prefer the shorter length (white colorway is the new release). I feel like the necklace is going to hang too low when worn.

New version of Little House features a smaller gingham pattern on the ribbons and ruffles. It clashes less with the main part. The ruffles probably look almost as if they were solid red from a distance. I'm conflicted about this change. On the one hand, it looks more balanced now. On the other hand, I sorta liked the mismatched clashing ginghams of the first release.

All the Glitter Ribbon rings sold out before the necklaces did (that surprised me - are rings really more popular? Or is that just from people focusing on necklaces for the Paris and JP releases and then filling in the gaps today?).
For the colors - pink went first, then white. Yellow and red necklaces hung around for a bit, then sold out.

This is my theory. People who wear other jfashions besides lolita are also super into certain pastel items like socks, jewelry, cutsews, etc. from AP and it's more accessible to them plus lower income lolitas who can't afford a dress from every release.

I can also only wear like 2 rings per hand, maybe 3 because my hands are really small and rings with like the bow shapes or other big designs take up too much space horizontally and will make noise bumping into each other any time I move my hands since they almost overlap.
