nitpick I know but I get a headache from looking at pictures made like this
>>10621002There wasn't even any namedropping or rulebreaking in the past 2 deleted threads, the new janny just obviously has personal stakes in this.
>>10621050Nah she was mentioned by name I saw.
>>10621050British scalper was named, also anachan and the girl who bought the stolen dress.
>>10621100>>10621101Dammit does it matter? Just try not to get this thread taken down you guys.
>>10621002I feel like at this point we can drop any discussion of the previous unnamed french skeleton. The drama is basically done as far as it concerns us and has been dragged out for a week. Everyone knows the story, we have archives, and the affected people can update on their sm how refunds and returning the missing stuff turns out.
>>10621074>>10621100>>10621101Jesus fuck why do you care so much
I'm so tired of seeing this topic. It keeps bringing board tourists who make shit threads about things that already exist or make comments like " you lolitas are so ____" or "cissoids could never _____"It's not even lolitas discussing this anymore its random men and lolitas-at-heart
>>10621110if you're not hiding male threads, you only have yourself to blame
Better report all the namedropping in garbage threads like >>10595396 and pretty much any other thread. >>10621105There have been updates of her scamming literally yesterday.
>>10621123that's cosplay no one cares over there, lolitas are petty (coming from a lolita)
did everything get resolved now with the chocolate jsk fiasco?
>>10621139No, I think last update was people couldn't get refunds because she unlinked her bank from her PayPal.
>>10621145Good lord, chick needs to banned from everywhere
>>10621074do you not have x?
>>10621139Continues here lolcow > w
Update: z has been using her mother’s PP to open false claims against people
you guys think z paid the SS to send the packages to her and lie?
>>10621257Go to the farm. I don’t want to get this thread deleted too bc jannies reee about it. She’s also sending her friends to harass X because X is speaking up about Z scamming her
>>10621262i do. z probably spends a lot of money. and it's easy for the ss to just pretend they "accidentally" sent them. and even if it was an accident, that's a big accident. it's suspicious, and the ss should be getting flack anyway for such a ridiculous mix up.
>>10621265Ok Z/Z’s friend. This does nothing to change the fact she’s avoiding refunding someone
>>10621269what? i'm saying that z bribed the SS, which makes her arguably worse.
>>10621270You’re just making shit up now.
>>10621273She clearly said this is a theory. It also makes sense when you think about it, and it's something Z clearly isn't above doing. Read before having a fit next time.
>>10621274Quit making shit up to detract from the real scamming Z is doing
>>10621004I’ve bought a few items from this person, but yeah their photos are a little headache inducing. They’re a lovely seller, though.
Can someone let them know this ? :) (Them : the buyers who's currently waiting for the refund)
>>10621275Can you get some reading comprehension? This thread isn't just for her anyway, go to the farm.
>>10621276There are at least 2 or 3 sellers who use this style of photo; sometimes I forget they're not the same person.
>>10621004So does she just buy stuff from the Bodyline webstore and then resell it or is she sourcing it in a different way?
>>10621318she often lists things that are out of stock on the Bodyline store, so i’ve always assumed she’s sourcing it from somewhere else
>>10621274It doesn't make sense. Why the fuck would an SS send someone else's stuff to a person that bribed them? The SS would be risking the trustworthiness of their entire business. The SS in question already lost major points with the community. No one is going to willingly do that for like $200-600.
>>10621319She always has a lot of misprints and (small) factory defects stocked too, I always assumed she has some sort of in to buy the overstock and reject pieces for cheap.
>>10621270this is absolutely fucking insane shut up
fucking kek. S is confirmed to be harassing people through DMs to defend Z
Switching gears away from baguette-chan: Is this dress really worth $1,000 or am I a newfag missing something?
>>10621440Lotta used to be the classic dress. I don’t think it’s worth that now for sure tho, classic died.
>>10621440It was really popular about 5 years ago and that color was never re-released. It’s definitely rare but it’s not worth that much anymore
>>10621440Lotta went for even more than that before the rerelease. To be fair, the rerelease blue was very different from the original so it did retain a lot of value even after that but, as another anon said, classic has really fallen out of popularity. I don't know if it fetches more than $800 now, and that's being pretty generous. Especially without accessories.
>>10621440As a classic lolita, I find it depressing that people think Lotta falls under classic. It's sweet more than classic, by far.
Just bought two headbows off a seller that is trying to double charge for combined shipping within the US lol. "7$ *2"That's not how math works. Standard flat rate is 8$ for a box that can fit two..Do Lolitas just nickel and dime scam a lot on shipping? Christ.. I wouldn't have bought both of them if I knew it wasn't combined
>>10621440Yes. You are a newfag. It is a well sought after dress. It's aged for sure but it's well sought after. If I saw it low, coming back after 10 years then I'd snatch it up QUICK
>>10621449What do you mean that colour was never re-released? It was released in a different fabric multiple times iirc
>>10621440>>10621494It used to be at one point but they re-released it so the price went down. The only reason the original is more sought after is because the fabric is heavier, but it won't sell for $1k right now.
>>10621454As a classic lolita who only wears dark colors and does not find these kinds of items to my taste whatsoever- just because you don't like it, doesn't make it not classic, lol. "Sweeter" or softer classic has always been Innocent World's brand.>>10621497As I mentioned >>10621450 the original specifically in Nordic blue has a noticeable color difference. The rerelease blue is a much brighter more sax-like blue than the original. That's why the rerelease in other colors have about the same value as the originals but the original release blue is still worth much more to those after that color specifically.Looking back on LM I don't see an original release nordic blue for sale in the last 3 years, only a slew of rerelease blues. So it is quite rare. But I agree I still wouldn't say it has the interest anymore to hit 1k.
>>10621496Revival lotta comes in the other colorways and added a lighter blue but never re-released the Nordic blue version.
>>10621494No need to sperg, weirdo. It's sought after, but it's not worth $1k.
>>10621492Yup, I personally report every lolita that asks me to cover paypal fees. Bitch, that's something you pay and it's only like 2%
>>10621440I used to want this dress so bad but now it looks like something from Bodyline to me and no I’m not a sweetfag
>>10621440as a pullip collector first & lolita later on, this one is so nostalgic to see again damn
>>10621440I think there only was a single person willing to pay this price and some people think it's still the going rate for it many years later.
mother, why am I so flat?
>>10621708You're being crushed under the weight of your sins

>>10621942Her sissy boyfriend Ft. corner dildo
>>10621449It wasn't even that popular 5 years ago, it was 10 years ago back in lj days. IW has milked it a few times for rereleases so most people who are old enough to remember/feel the original hype own it by now.On the anon asking about the price, I would say there is only a very small number of dedicated IW fans in the west who care enough about things like original release vs rerelease differences, and probably even less of them that want and don't have lotta. I don't think there is any realistic chance of it selling at $1k.

Some people on tiktok are saying Bellshrimp is closing down? I looked all over social media and can't find any confirmation. Are they just clueless and ill-informed?
>>10622108Bellshrimp told me recently they planned to close in about a week when I made an order with them. I imagine they will finish out current orders before they close completely, but I have a feeling they will stop accepting new orders soon unless they change their mind.
>>10622108When I tried to place an order with Bellshrimp two days ago, they said they were closing down and weren't accepting orders.
>>10622116>>10622117Oh wow. Did they give a reason?I wonder if it's directly because of the mix up, or if they've wanted to close for awhile. Never got to use them.
>>10621105afaik, the items were returned to the correct buyer today
>>10622121No. I didn't pry. It's not my business. I'm sure they have their reasons. It sucks cause I've already used them a few times to buy dresses from XianYu, but I guess the pressures of running a business are getting to them, and they have decided to close.
This is what they said.
>>10622127>>10622129Makes me sad to see an SS go. Resources already feel strained. I wonder if they got a lot of hate because of the incident.
>>10622130Lolitas can be petty so I wouldn't be surprised. I didn't even know about the mixup until they made the post about it, but I tend to be out of the loop. I've had no issues with them. 42agent isn't a bad service for XianYu, but I don't like how they won't buy stuff over 700 CNY through PayPal. I'm not doing a bank transfer. Oh well. Where there is a will, there's a way. I don't have many actual dream dresses left at this point, but I do like browsing XianYu a lot.

>>10622308Did you win?

>>10622403This. Laws, technicalities, legalities aside....these people really think they can take a package meant for someone else, sell it on LM, and get this - everyone would just be okay with it?! That their reputation would be fine and the original recipient would just fucking take a nap?

>>10622403>>10622409If anything, it is just straight up psychotic behavior. The buyer clearly wanted her items, spent time searching for them, was content with what she paid for them and was excited for them to arrive. It takes a real psycho to just... get the box and sell everything when the buyer clearly still wanted her things and spent time trying to reach out and get them back. Plus it was two whole boxes of items, like what the actual fuck.Never mind the fact that she blocked the SS and buyer which is telling enough, it is asinine that people (i.e. her "friends") are defending actions like this and they should be chased out of the fashion too.

Just another day in Lolita land. If the sky’s blue the mods are useless. I honestly can’t believe that they continue to allow her to operate.

>>10621002Idk if this question belongs to this thread, but, has anyone used Mercari trough Buyee? I’ve only bought trough facebook and lace market, but i want to try and buy something trough buyee for a change. I guess i’d just like to hear experiences from people and how reliable the site is?
>>10623526It’s easy and fast. What SS you use is a very personal preference. Just be aware that they don’t unpack the things you buy and stuff all the boxes inside a bigger box when shipped. It can get pretty expensive depending on where you’re from and their fees are higher than most other SS.
>>10623529Thanks for answering! Hmm maybe i’ll try it, seems simple enough to navigate since i’ve no experience from shopping services before.
>>10623526Honestly i find shopping with buyee really comfortable. I believe you can request opening the parcel and request a picture. I find handling everything very smooth and easy. Obviously shipping is maybe a bit more expensive now.
>>10623532I’m glad to hear! I don’t feel as anxious from ordering trough them anymore lol. Yeah i’m kinda worried how bad the shipping fees are going to be but oh well.
>>10623462lol she deleted it
>>10623526i use buyee exclusively when buying off mercari, its easy to use and once your item arrives you can pay a small fee to have them photograph the item once it arrives. Their customer service is good too, they usually reply in a few hours
>>10623547>repeated myselfim kms
>>10623547I wish Buyees customer service extended to dealing with sellers too. I had to put on my Mercari profile not to buy my items because whoever runs their accounts are nagging asses.
>>10623526Personally I hate buyee. I find their fees are ridiculous compared to other ss, and you get less for what you pay. They don't inspect or unpack to save on shipping costs, and if you want to see the items before they ship you have to pay more. I think what gets to me the most is the consolidation fee, and the fact that they're so slow with purchasing a lot of the time and often can't buy newly listed items. Not my thing, but obviously other people like it, so I guess it's really just a personal preference in what you prioritize.
>>10623577Which do you prefer? I mean I’d be glad to use something cheaper obviously
>>10623577That sucks to hear. What other ss you suggest? I did already order a few things, and it took about 15min for them to buy the item from mercari, i just hope the shipping fees won’t end up being insane.
>>10623554>>10623577buyee is terrible, but i've had good luck with hoyoyo.
How are the fees more expensive if you’re not buying small things? It’s 500yen-1000yen depending on if you get insurance. Unless you’re buying small stuff all the time, it tends to be cheaper than a percentage.
>>10623633Please learn how to reply to a post
>>10623633Anon, they charge 3 different fees for every item. You end up paying atleast 1000 yen for each. On top of that they charge more for shipping in general, and they don't consolidate items properly. Their customer service is terrible also.
>>10623577Buyee only exists because of the convenience of its existing partnership with mercari.
>>10623680they're owned by tenso. plus they suck for mercari because they don't get the listings right away. i've bought things with hoyoyo that didn't appear on buyee for a week. hoyoyo is chinese but their customer service is great and they are a bit better about fees.
>>10623680Lol, buyee exited long before Mercari to buy from Yahoo Auctions and such. But Buyee is not that great for Mercari, there are plenty of seller that won’t sell to them. I often see sellers just like ignore Buyee’s question on if it is okay to buy. Same with FromJapan. They both straight out use their company names as a nickname. A lowkey shopping service is much better for Mercari and Fril.
I am a fucking idiot and didnt update my shipping address after i moved 3 states away. My dream dress was delivered to my old apartment building last week. Crossing my fingers that my friend who lives nearby can pick it up, that somebody lets her in, and that nobody threw it away (at least its in a good area and people don’t steal packages but still i am scared).Lesson learned :(
>>10623762Assuming youre in the US, next time go on USPS and use their mail rerouting service as soon as you realize theres a mistake. Hope this helps!
>>10623585>>10623607>>10623608seconding hoyoyo. Haven't tried bidding with them yet but they buy quickly during daytime in Japan, reasonable shipping and good customer service

>>10623776Every time I’ve set that up, they still delivered it to the previous address. USPS has never fulfilled that redirect thing for me
>>10623990Nta but that's very odd. Did you get the confirmation in the mail that the address change had been filed?
>>10623990They never do anything that I request online either...
>>10623990>>10624066>>10624031Also NTA but I have never had the USPS fail on redirecting for me (short of my mother sending money to an address I moved out of over a year prior.) Maybe your local offices aren’t receiving the orders correctly? I know USPS can be woefully outdated. You may just have to go in person to handle it (as frustrating as that is.)Sorry for the system fucking up on you all, though.
>>10624383>>10623990You literally have to pay 20$ to redirect for 6 months. If that shit fails, they better refund you. I wouldn't rule it out, since they charge now. It used to just be 1$ to forward, 10 years ago.
>>10624406>have to pay 20$ to redirect for 6 monthsThis is 100% incorrect. It's still only a $1. Please, please, PLEASE make sure you are using the official USPS site to file the address change. There are tons of shitty scammy sites that offer to do address changes, but charge $20-$60 for it and never actually file anything.I've moved twice in the last 3 years and it's always been $1, and I've always gotten the confirmation at both my old and new addresses.https://www.usps.com/manage/forward.htm
>>10624418It's 20$ for me. I'm not sure what you mean by that. I'm going directly through USPS. I just live in Seattle, so I imagine maybe that increases the price.
>>10624421No— I live in Seattle and was raised in the surrounding areas and it’s never $20.
>>10624421The link I posted is the same for everyone in the United States. It's $1 for everyone. Are you talking about premium forwarding services and not an actual address change? Because PMF is an entirely different service (pic related).Seriously though, click on the link I posted or type it into your browser. It's $1.
>>10624421Directly from the USPS FAQ.COA = Change of Address
>>10623986>Chobits Chii cosplay
you guys are confusing change of address with a single package redirect. change of address doesn't even include packages.
>>10624571Change of address redirects mail. That’s how it works, and it’s always worked fine for me.
>>10624608you're not listening and even in the thing you linked it says it doesn't include packages, fag.
>>10624453I'm trying to forward packages, not just change my address on file with USPS lol. You have to list with USPS officially that you live somewhere, JUST to receive mail usually. (In a house is different than in an apartment) Redirecting from another address for just my own mail, specifically a place that is rented is another service than just changing the address on file for a location. If you do not register your name to A HOUSE the likelihood of you getting your mail will be sparse until you go to USPS to do it..Also, other Seattle anon. It doesn't matter if you're from here. They are two different things and I'm not going to take the risk in a rented location getting my mail.
>>10624649Stop sperging, I moved from one HOUSE to another HOUSE, and they’re never redirected mail when I’ve set it up
>>10624650The hell are you even on about? If anyone is spurging, it's you. You can't even make damn sense.
>>10624631I’m not that anon. My only reply was the one you just responded to. I didn’t link to anything. Pull your bloomers out of your ass. Again, it’s always worked FINE for me. You’re getting needlessly worked up over a conversation about the mail service on an anonymous website.
Friendly reminder to always insure your packages. USPS lost the $800+ milky planet I sold months ago, and finally admitted it. I’m still out $40 but it could have been so much worse. If you’re the seller, insure it whether the buyer wants to pay or not. It will save you a lot of money on the off chance something goes wrong. The extra insurance was $6, and I never had a issue with USPS before, just kinda had a feeling that I should insure it bc I didn’t expect it to go so high. PS: thank you to the buyer who was so helpful and understanding. RIP milky planet. It was basically new and included the matching valleta. Such a shame.
>>10625087Ooof that is my worst nightmare. I always insure anything over $300 and just roll it into the price so people don’t bitch about me insisting on charging for insurance. I legit don’t know what I’d do if I was out that much money.
>>10621514ayrt and literally when did I say I didn't like it? I just said I don't think it's classic.
>>10625087I ALWAYS buy insurance, that shit is non negotiable, espcailly now when the USPS is super fucky. In fact, I have a package that hasn't updated it's tracking in a week.Good on you for fighting them, they make it such a bitch to get any money back
>>10625087I ask sellers to insure my packages and even when they do, USPS won't take responsibility when they lose it. I've had a $400 OP along with a brand new camera go missing and have never gotten reimbursement. USPS's bullshit claim is that because it was marked as delivered to my house, there's nothing they can do about it.I live in a gated community and my neighbors wouldn't steal. A couple of them even said they'd keep an eye out if my packages ended up on their doorstep. I'm glad and surprised you were able to get the insurance money anon.
>>10625087>valettaIt's barrette, anon. Google doesn't translate that word to English correctly.
>>10625143Nayrt but it doesn't really matter. People still say KC even though our English word is headbow and not katyusha or whatever. People know what they mean.
>>10625145We don't say kachusha or valetta in the western comms though, even if we know what it means from Japanese sites.
>>10625150We literally do say kachusha tho, many of us say KC which is just a shorter version of it, rather than headbow. And even though onepiece translates to just "dress", we still distinguish between OP and JSK and use Japanese terms. No need to get your panties in a twist over people using romanizations of Japanese words in a Japanese fashion.
>>10625150People say valetta as a joke
>>10625156In real life people say "Onepiece", Jumperskirt", and "Barrette" bc they're english loan words. Katyusha is not an english loan word
>>10623802Who is she and what did she do? I was considering buying from her.
>>10625193But people also still say KC in real life too so...? Just let people say what they feel like. Lolita is a Japanese fashion, people can say or spell it the Japanese way if they feel like it, no one cares.
>>10625156Nobody says kachusha outside of Japan. KC is a common abbreviation in listings but headbow is the term used in the west. You picked a weird weeby hill to die on.Do you call OTKs obani too? Kek.
>>10625203nayrt but just browse lace market for 2 seconds and you'll see people use KC. I'm not sure why you're arguing otherwise.
>>10625210Are you dense? I'm not talking about the abbreviation. I'm talking about the full word.
>>10625213lmao you're right, sorry im tired
>>10625142Yeah I only got reimbursed because it hadn’t updated tracking. If they mark as delivered the buyer is sol. >>10625143That was your takeaway? Lmao if AP had called it a barrette that’s what I’d list it as.
>>10625213People def “katyusha” in my comm. I do too from time to time. Who cares everyone knows what you mean.
>>10625219Requiring signature confirmation is really helpful combined with insurance. Not even insurance is enough with shitty USPS sometimes, but if someone else signs for your package you can at least have the law on your side (it's a felony I think) and it's harder for USPS to fuck you over and not pay you back.
>>10625226I forgot to mention, it was also signature required.
>>10625227That's so shitty anon. But you said the tracking stopped updating right? I meant that Signature Confirmation helps when the package says Delivered but the buyer didn't actually get it since that is on USPS and whoever signed for it, so it can be pursued as a legal issue on top of getting the money back from insurance coverage.Regardless, I hate USPS so much. Some other countries have such amazing postal systems. I can't begin to count how many of my packages arrived flattened, torn open or missing packaging completely, soaked when it's not raining, or they say Delivered and never arrive or for some reason turn up 2 days later. They suck.
>>10625227so is insurance AND signature confirmation recommended?I always buy insurance, but have always worried it's a scam that's impossible to actually claim money back
>>10625232If you insure it over a certain amount it automatically becomes signature required. I think it’s $100 but I’m not sure
>>10625229Pretty sure that's just your division that sucks. I've only had a book accidentally destroyed in their machines and I got refunded because the seller was successful with getting an insurance claim. Otherwise I've had no problems, but I'm sure it helps that I put a sticker on my mailbox showing support for usps. Also they mark it as delivered to meet their delivery dates as advertised (without successfully delivering). Blame Dejoy for these pleasant changes.
>>10625200People dont say Alice bow anymore?
>>10623333I got scammed at a convention back in 2011. 17 year old me bought a bodyline jsk for $100. RIP.
I know its not great to namedrop, but i bought a listing from a seller that has one feedback (good) and has been a member on lm for 6 years. I purchased it yesterday, and no contact from seller or PayPal invoice either. The one feedback they have is from 2018. Im just beginning to worry. . Its a dream dress of course too to make matters worse. Any advice? Asking here since related to lm even though not main subject.
>>10625386Send them a LM message and ask.
>>10625386does their profile or tos state anything that could explain a longer wait in communication? is the seller in the same country as you or not?
>>10625387Woops forgot to include that, yes ive sent one already and also commented on the listing letting them know i have sent a pm.
>>10625388Didnt see this reply, just refreshed. They are usa based as i am, and their tos is empty.
>>10625391does your message to them show that its been read?
>>10625392They have not been, no.
>>10625394well I don't think there's much you can do. I feel for you esp since its a dream dress. I hope you get a reply soon!
>>10625396Yeah.. i really just have to wait. Hopefully they reply. Thank you anon.
Is this monstrosity just super washed out or is this a replica? I genuinely cannot tell.
>>10625422Not a replica, I’m pretty sure that’s just a shit picture of the lighter blue colorway so it’s not even really faded. The hem lace is hard to see, but it looks right to me.
>>10625253>Pretty sure that's just your division that sucksThis has happened in various cities and states I've lived in throughout the years. All of my friends have had many issues USPS too. Are you whiteknighting because your family member works for them or something or are you just new? It is common knowledge that they suck. Many other countries have amazing mail systems, after living abroad it just highlighted how extra shitty USPS is.>>10625232Like >>10625250 said it is typically included for packages over a certain insurance value but I always ask just in case. I always ask them to stamp fragile on it too.
>>10625549Honestly USPS has issues but I don't think they actually suck that badly. I have had far more issues with FedEx and UPS, which cost far more and as private entities supposedly charging more for better service, I would expect more than the basic partially government run normal mail but their non union drivers are lazier and more problematic than USPS. I've lived in the suburbs, city, and super far out in the country and they have universally been just fine, only with some errors like the aforementioned online requests having issues at times, which right now I can understand with mail still overwhelmed bc of COVID even now
>>10625396Seller replied and its on the way, thank you for reminding me itd be fine anon.
>>10625628Hope it fits perfectly and makes you feel super pretty!
>>10625848Thats bodyline? NGL, if it was $30 I would get it
>>10625876It's still on their site. L348, it's like $60 right now, but it regularly goes on sale for way less and it can be found on most second hand sites for $30 or less sometimes. It's actually pretty nice irl for such a cheap dress.
>>10625848Priced high to skim money from fat noobs who like pink jsks tbqh. Fatties have less options and this dress is kinda hard to find unless you know where to look.
>>10625886You'd absolutely be surprised how easy it is to upsell bodyline to retarded fatties and zoomers who don't know to look on their site
>>10621492So package got here. I was charged 14$ shipping for two headbows to combine to the same country in the US "(7$+7$)". Didn't realize I was being charged for a reused Amazon envelope. Both headbows were smashed down.
>>10625892Ohhhh leave a negative review wtaf
>>10625892Was going to buy those exact listings, glad I didn't.
>>10625899Yeah. She hella scammed me. I've sent her a message to try to give her a chance to refund me my 14$ for shipping. She wrote it into Paypal as extra for each item, probably to exclude that she was supposed to pay for packaging. LM has the price the items recorded, so she's not getting out of this. I'd just rather have my money back.
>>10625901You sound like a scammer. Who fucking cares, you got your item... You're going to bitch about a 7 dollar refund? Unbelievable.
>>10625892Is reusing a box that bad? I'm trying to be more eco friendly so I reuse boxes... I can't justify buying a new one to ship something (and it would eat into my profit)Either way, that's way too much for domestic. I paid just under $9 today to ship a pair of boots. Definitely leave negative feedback
>>10625904You're kidding me, right? It's not 7$. She didn't pay for packaging at all.
>>10625905No, but lying to people about packaging is bad. I'm fine with people re-using packaging if they aren't overcharging me. Which, we had a dialogue about the packaging with me before sending it. I directly asked her about it and she said the packaging cost that much. So she lied.It doesn't even cost 14$ to ship the majority of shit in the US.
>>10621494It hasn't been with 1k for several years now. Sounds like you're the newfag
>>10625905going on a slight tangent, i think reusing boxes is fine for domestic but not for overseas. international boxes get beat the hell up, and reused boxes are probably not rated for that stress in the first place plus already lost some of their durability. the tape needs to be extra strong too, because even if the cardboard withstands the damage, the tape might not and can peel right open. both of the overseas LM packages I've recieved have been falling apart to such an extent that it's a miracle the contents were undamaged.
>>10625906well, a small flat rate box from USPS is $14 (with insurance, without it's $8). So price wise, it's not that weird, but the fact that she just put them in a bag is horrible. Op, they could have snapped in the transit, get her ass
>>10625918I shipped internationally once and the girl bitched that I used a thick box and tape that was too strong. Who complains about that? Do you want your stuff damaged in transit?
>>10625919One of the headbows is relatively beat up, because it was already a little worn from what I can tell. I always feel like the wired BTSSB are so damn delicate after so many years.
>>10625918Ironically, I had a box from SF AP shipped to another place in the US recently that got more beat up than any of the other boxes I get from any other location.. That shit had a huge hole in the side. SF postal workers must be rage monkeys..
>>10625848>this item has been sold kek
>>10625937AP SF never tapes the boxes they send items in, so it's just the adhesive weakly keeping it together. so many of my shipments from them have had holes or are partially open. it wasn't so bad when they still included bags to hold the items in, now they just get exposed
>>10625942I just received a package pst week from them and they had taped it within an inch of it’s life. It was surprisingly difficult to get into.
>>10623608I just tried to use hoyoyo for the first time for y japan and all the auctions I'm interested in, it straight up tells me they won't place a bid on it, so that's a little frustrating. It's for kimono stuff, not lolita, but still. If anyone's got an alternative that's good for yahoo auctions I'm all ears lol, otherwise I'll just suck it up and go back to buyee
>>10626140I also buy a lot of kimono stuff on y-japan through buyee so would also like to know any better alternatives. Sometimes I just wait for Sou's 70% off sales, however there can be great 1yen deals on japanese auction sites.
>>10624383Not to rehash this, but USPS woefully failed at redirecting all of my mail this year, including all of my tax forms were sent right after I moved, and then kept failing to redirect the mail for months. I had to pick up a stack of dozens of letters from the new tenant after a while. This was in Jan-March of this year.
>>10625255I honestly never knew what anyone meant by that since Meta makes tie on headbows, Baby makes huge KCs, and AP makes small KCs. Alice bow is a very weird term that people haven’t used in like 5+ years here
>>10626142That's exactly what I'm after rn lol, but scoring stuff for like 300 yen is pointless when you pay 200+300+ up to 500 depending on your choice of fees. seems like an SS that does percentage based fees would be better for that, tho I haven't deep dived into comparing any yet.
>>10626140>>10626142Is there enough interest to make a thread specifically about Japanese SS/FS? I too am getting annoyed with buyee and don't want to shit up this thread too much with my bitching
>>10626198Buyee is constantly doing coupons for free or discounted fees, though. If you pay attention they’ll have a whole month where their fees are free, or $50 off international shipping. I wait for those times and then I go nuts and buy all the little auctions. When you buy 60 items and combine them all into one, even if shipping is $100 or more I end up saving money. I get super anal about it and I calculate the exact item cost with fees and its percentage of the shipping cost based on the weight of that item as a percentage of the total weight of the big combined package I got. f you play your cards right with coupons and you get a lot of items, you get the stuff for way cheaper than it would cost on the western market. I considered scalping for a while because there’s definitely room for a profit margin but at the end of the day it’s not worth it because I already have a job.It really is all about their coupons
I will never understand why people admit to losing bids and then beg for someone to sell them the dress.Just shut up and bid higher.
>>10626425yeah it just shows they don't prioritize their "dream" dresses. literally just bid more, set an alarm for when the auction ends, don't e beg for a lower price... christ, do these people think they deserve some kind of sympathy? this feels like someone who probably thinks lolita is supposed to be ~inclusive~ for their feelings or something. literally just a tasteless embarrassing broke bitch.
>>10626439It sucks to get caught in a bidding war and potentially pay a lot for an item, but honestly auctions are the easiest way to get things if you're just willing to throw down money. It's not that hard. I would never admit to posting a WTB as a direct result of just being too cheap to win a bid. It pretty much guarantees that whoever sells to them will be getting a bad deal. Also the way they said they've been "looking for so long." I would bet they've been looking for less an a year, which absolutely zero time to be looking for a dream dress. It all reads as pathetic.
>>10626242I've gotten that coupon before, I basically got the international shipping for free which made everything else so worth it (I was buying a handful of more expensive, heavier items). It's a really good coupon. It just sucks when you see listings you really like and have no coupon to take advantage of.
>>10626425I'm gonna be honest with the current state of the western market I'm just? Not mad about this. I think a lot of gulls like to larp as being rich but it's not a bad idea to have a set budget for thinks, why pay 1k for a dress just because Americans are still going wild when someone might sell it to you for a price that's more reasonable or even send you a link to a listing they find. I've had friends sell me dresses for actual value instead of whatever covidlitas are willing to drop.
What a bitch
>>10626540Yeah, idk why she says that. It’s not like you can see who likes your stuff anyway so you can’t reach out to them or something.
>>10626425If she’s lost multiple bids on the dress that she just doesn’t want to pay market value and that sounds like a her problem
>>10626540This is so whiny. Likes on listings don't mean the seller is entitled to a sold dress. I hope more people like it so she's more triggered.
>>10626540Fuck that for a laugh, I use likes as a "I like it but it's not a great need right now/ I'll wait for it to be reduced" list.
>>10626540Is this about the watchlist? I put stuff there that I'm either not sure if I want to buy yet, or I don't want to forget, or I'm simply interested to see how much it'll sell for. Odd to be bothered about.
>>10626540I'm not trying to defend the seller because it's annoying af but this is common on Japanese sellers profiles.
>>10626540she's had this in her listings for awhile now, surprised it hadn't been called out before
I went and liked all her listing kek I’m a petty bitch
>>10626611Wish I knew who it was, I would do the same
>>10626617How do you not know who it is
>>10626448Not everyone is as obssessive as you. People can still want things without thinking about them 24/7
>>10626540>>10626596Was going to say this. Common for Japanese seller profiles.
>>10626596>this is common on Japanese sellers profiles....why? I can't image how that would bother anyone
>>10626540that's the whole purpose of a like. if i liked it enough to buy it, i would place a bid/bin instead.
>>10626241I would absolutely be interested.
Is it just me or does this seem a bit weird and sewn too high? The shirt looks like one you can just buy from AliExpress with a detachable collar thrown on.."Unknown year" my ass...
>>10626779Because sellers there are strict and dumb as hell. They look for any reason to be bothered.
