I think that depends where you live. I live in the south, and the majority of people I see, alt or not, are fat. Only a minority of early-mid 20s girls I know are a normal weight, and an even smaller minority are skinny. Hell, when I had a BMI of 25 I had people telling me I'd look "sickly" if I lost any weight.
