Personally I don’t think so. I’ve had a number of pieces from them and Axes Femme’s quality is simply not on par with the larger Japanese brands. Primarily they sell non lolita pieces but their Kawaii line which has lolita suitable JSKs is similar in quality to the rest of their stuff. For cigarette smells, you can put the garment in a sealed room or closet with some ozium spayed in it. You have to leave the room for a couple hours for the ozone to dissipate though or it'll make you sick and possibly kill your pets. Actually, doing this in your car would work pretty well too. Some varieties of canned ozone even come with vanilla scents added.

If we're talking about detailed solids and floral grandma's couch classic I think you're right, it's too niche sizing and "boring" for the trendlitas. It doesn't grab attention well on SM.

Wunderwelt getting rid of their member rank system right before I finally got a high rank from all my covid boredom spending... kind of annoyed, but it's not like the rewards were super amazing.

I'm more perplexed/extremely skeptical of the excuse they gave for why they're getting rid of it:

The reasons why I love Wunderwelt are the layout and the reward system. Pretty upset since I maintained silver rank for the last two years. Though granted, the point system isn't AMAZING but I appreciate the double points as compared to bronze rank.

Now that I read your thoughts, I'm pretty skeptical of why Wunderwelt is deciding to get rid of the membership ranks too.

yeah there’s no way the ranking system would impact the site server-side that badly lmao. the membership status is probably a set of booleans that get updated infrequently and the points are just a counter. it really adds no conceivable load to process that information during a purchase, no more than them saving your card information/preferred address.

plus Wunderwelt is way slower paced in terms of anything selling out than say, Closetchild. shit just sits there forever because they try to price based on the market (tho CC has been doing this more). no clue what they’re smoking but they’re outright lying

According to an email I got from FromJapan, EMS to the USA is supposed to resume starting June 1st. However, there are price increases.
