I'd say my favorite controversial pick is no headpiece, I've yet to see blouseless done well, and I'd say oldschool produces the most unique and well excecuted coords (though don't get me wrong theres some bad ones too and experimental can go very wrong very easily)

I'm going to defend blouseless. I think it can look good if it's done with a cut that suits it like picrel. A lot of older street snaps and brand promo pics have blouseless looks too and they look good. I honestly wish brands would make frilly camis again.

This is a pretty old picture and at the time I think people had similar complaints. Since if you look too much at the print you'll see the themes dont match at all. The themes mismatching has been discussed many times since the coord was done and another take on it, which I do agree with, is that the European city reflects the British infatuation with Egypt and the numerous expeditions to Egypt which happened in the 1920s-40s. It may seem mismatching at first glance but I think it takes a historical element and gives it deeper meaning than if the coord was just Egyptian motifs on everything.

Does anyone know what coord I mean and have a pic of a girl wearing a certain lavender and yellow coord? Melty moon theme to the coord. The quilting on the flap doesn’t line up diagonally with the quilting on the main part of the bag. That’s one of the first things you look out for on fakes of these particular CHANEL bags. I think it is better to get a similarly styled one without the fake designer logo if you don’t want to spend the $ on a real one. There are lots of bags that are similar enough without being counterfeits. Just my opinion.

The top is thinner than the bottom and the straps are positioned too far forward as well. Basic fake bag 101 stuff for the flap bags. When you are going to spend that amount, even on a used bag, you learn to spot the fakes so you don’t make an expensive mistake. Lots of people carry fakes but yeah we will notice it.

This coord to me encapsulates modern lolita and why I don't like it. This girl looks cute, the individual items are fine and clearly a lot of care and thought went into the coordination. But I can't see this as anything other than a well-executed costume. If this is what gets praised in our community then how can we claim that "it's just clothes" and get offended when people call it a costume or ask us if we're in a play?

I don't like this coord at all, it looks like a costume, and the necklace looks quite cheap as well as the bracelets. The ribbon on the headress reminds me of the kind of ribbon you put on a christmas tree.
