I like the term traditional lolita when it's being used to refer to coordinates like the one you just posted. It makes sense, it's traditional styling but can include any modern dress. Even NEW brand could be styled traditionally with a simple white blouse/sock and plain matching shoe.
Old school can encompass traditional style because that existed back then too, but also would include the quintessential mismatching street style. Old school is an era not a substyle after all.

Anon that's like saying that every basic bitch Elizabeth coord is skin-walking. Iconic snaps are iconic, at least for me, because they are really great, and most of the time really basic. Adding a "spin" would ruin that old-school simplicity I admire. Not to mention that I find it nearly impossible to get the whole coord right.
