To put it simply; death threats.

Anonymity for some reason made people think that the person running the account wasn't human, so a lot of people (some even infamous members of the online community) felt that no name or face means it's okay to threaten to kill someone for making content they felt attacked by.
I was getting some kind of harm or death threat on a weekly basis towards the end of my account running.

Some members of the community also just don't know how to take a joke, and also don't know how to educate when a mistake has been done. I'm definitely responsible for sometimes stepping over the line in language and context, but I've only ever had a few people actually contact me and educate me on why I am mistaken and how to better myself.

Another short and simple answer; I'm Aussie. In Australia, there's a few important things to take note of in general:
The use of the word 'cunt' isn't as bad as it is in many other countries, and is often even used positively (ex. What a mad cunt = cunt here is a replacement for lad or mate almost)

A lot of words like //retard// are commonly used within Australian youth, less so for the newer generation, but being in my twenties, I grew up using retard as a replacement a replacement for stupid or silly, not as a derogatory word for people with neurological differences.

Of course this doesn't excuse my language, and I have been kindly corrected by a small amount of the community, but this is a small explanation as to why this wasn't shocking for me

From the context of what's been said and the name, I'd say if people think you're a bot then let them think it and know that what they say is not directed at you personally. As someone who works in customer service/IT/Retention I get death threats and cussed out directly in my ear but I'm aware that they are not pissed at me, but at the company I work for. Lastly, an uncanny amount of popular and almost famous Instagram lolitas are absolutely disgusting. Again, this is probably because of the anonymity, they thought they didn't have to put on a facade for a person who can't identify themselves, but as a result I saw a very very ugly side to almost half of the popular Instagram lolitas you probably follow for inspo.

You name it, some famous account has told me about it; shitting openly on disabled members of their community, openly being racist/homophobic/scamming, stories about overpricing items because they wore it and a fan bought their dress, vanity, narcissism, disturbing thoughts towards other famous lolitas and more than anything, a complete disregard for their follower base.

I'm not here to out these people, but if you are reading this knowing you spoke to me thinking I was no one, just know that I remember everything we spoke about, and you being famous doesn't make you better than anyone...
