It's huge so it holds a lot and looks cute from behind as a backpack in photos. I really enjoyed mine; I just hate that the metal parts are gold when most of my metals are silver. Not sure if they have options to change the hardware color. They match bodyline and other pink tea parties well too. I sold mine because of the metal color honestly. They may scuff easily because of the pleather. I'm pretty rough on my bags in general though.

I can't speak for the whole comm, but I didn't like it much personally. Jsk looks pretty weird with those flappy sleeves and longish hem ruff. They just make the dress look like it may fall apart any moment. On positive note I do appreciate that ruffled scales-like bodice and shell charms, it's realli great that they do those "easter eggs" tiny details again. What about pint, idk I just don't feel it even tho I really like Twinkle Mermaid. Maybe the artwork is not too contrast and is too small proportionally, so the dress seems quite empty. From the standpoint of someone who’s in merchandising, there’s a huge conflict in being a brand that uses another brands items. On the one hand, I like seeing that their brand can work well with BABY stuff but at the same time, it’s a missed opportunity to showcase more of their product.

I only own one cutsew, but the sleeves are a little short to normal on me, maybe a cm or two shorter than a perfect fit. (I'm not very tall so normie shirts tend to want to do that whole moe-sleeve thing on me and I don't/can't do that with this cutsew since it fits more normally).

I'd say it will fit fine if you're plus sized petite with average length arms, but if you're taller, maybe skip the long sleeve blouses?

Their large size non-cutsew blouses may fit differently; I only have experience with cutsews and one blouse, which had smaller shoulder measurements though bigger waist measurements. The cutsews are also a little short if you have much of a chest, while the blouse was an okay length.

It's not an obsession for me personally. It just seems weird because color matching systems exist to help stuff match in spite of different material and factories. Pantone is one but there are Japanese proprietary systems, systems in industries like geology, and especially fashion...a clothing company not being able to color match products seems weird when they are a brand that we know produces samples and would have the chance to adjust colors then if they wanted it to be closer. I buy most of my lolita jewelry from handmade shops now since a lot of brand jewelry has been scalped to hell and back.

I'm considering purchasing a laser cutter once I'm more well off financially to print designs on and cut small acrylic jewelry and charms (my university is closed because of corona so no access to the ones we have). It would be more expensive upfront but easier than resin since you just make a digital file. Maybe even get a small UV printer if they make home sized ones for more detailed designs on keychains or jewelry.

A laser cutter could cut the shape of the charm (2d/die cut sort of shapes only) and then etch a groove into it for the paint or enamel.

You're part of the problem. Many of us said the moment she left her mother that it wasn't a cause for celebration. That in all likelihood things would get worse. That she was in a "marriage" with an oddball guy who essentially stalked her and whose language she didn't speak fluently. In a country with no support network of her own, no qualifications, limited language ability, complete dependency on a spouse she barely knew and so on.

I hate doing the told you so routine but really, some of us did tell you this would happen. You responded (and I remember the threads well) by reee'ing about how she was free now, things would get better for her because of her kawaii asian husbando, how we were all just debbie downers. It honestly makes me think a lot of you are fundamentally naïve.

The best thing for Venus to do would have been to go back home and get a formal education of some point. This insipid Japan and Korea veneration would be funny if it didn't lead to people in their twenties unironically stuck there in virtual prostitution, as single mothers to boot.

Nope, not a fan of her or invested in her life. Only knew her through the Yan wife drama so checked the farm once in a while. Saw youtubers make videos about her being liberated from her mom and thought that was good, it's not really that deep. I'm not cheering for her to do anything or live any certain way, I just liked the idea of someone with a somewhat big viewerbase to depict lolita nicely, which she did in one video. Dependent on her stage mom who would pimp her out, dependent on a creepy stalker, sounds like it wasn't going to end well either way.
