How long until other states are using their hotels to house the homeless? Would you stay in these hotels after seeing this?

Good, now maybe they'll stop fucking asking me for change when nobody has any

i don't think this qualifies as /cgl/ related. i like the sentiment, but i don't think it addresses the systemic issues behind homelessness and i think that the success of something like this would require hotel staff to be functionally equivalent to homeless shelter staff, which they aren't.

How is this not /cgl/ related? They're using hotels within a block of the LA Convention Center.

Trust me, some con goers leave hotels in even worse condition.

Hiw long until they just stop price gouging on rent?

They're saying no homeless because they already have experience dealing with a similar group, AX weebs. They are poor and they trash the rooms. No respect.

I know it's an unpopular opinion but hotel businessmen should not be forced to have drug addict homeless in their hotels. They have expensive things like televisions and nice furniture and homelessness is statistically due to just being a filthy addict.

>> No.10386759

I fucking hate homeless people and don't understand why anyone wants to give them anything. 9/10 times they're homeless because everyone in their life fucking hates them for good reason. So no I would not stay in hotels with homeless people.

I agree with you. They are running a business not a charity. But if they feel like doing this by their own will, well sure.

>> No.10386763

The damage these filthy fucks are going to cause will do more damage than not renting the rooms out... By the time the pandemic is "over" all the hotels that do this are going to be cesspools for every disease known to man... They will spend thousands, maybe even millions to properly sanitize everything to get it back up to spec.

They only want them off the streets to try to "flatten the curve" because homeless people are filthy, nasty ass people who will transport this virus beyond anything else...

This isn't going to end well. Those hotels will pay more in the end.

>> No.10386768

They already did the same before for refugees from the middle east, nobody cares.

Refugees and homeless people are different. Refugees tend to be relatively normal people in tough times. Most American homeless people are drug addicts and thieves and homeless because they choose drugs & the streets & crime over being sober and getting into programs that do exist

>> No.10386822

>>10386771
85% of refugees are young men, and "normal" for them, especially in groups, is being sexually inappropriate with women and children, sometimes violently. There's some hotels in Canada that were forced to house groups of refugees, and while some were undoubtedly normal, decent people, there were complaints from other guests about the young men sexually harassing little girls. Girls like only six and eight year s old.

You do know people live on the top floors. That's why hotel said no, it would be an invasion of their home.

It's because it's perfectly fine in Islam to lust after little girls, you just can't have sex with them until they get their period. Prophet Mohammad first fell in love with Aisha, his favorite wife, when she was around 6, but had to wait until she was 9 to marry her. Since he is considered the perfect man, of course it's ok for Muslim men to hit on 8 year olds - they are nearly marriage age, just following in the footsteps of the prophet, PBUH.

This and I can't support a religion that encourages women to cover themselves head to toe for the sake of protecting men's eyes from carnal desires.

>> No.10386954

The only people who are ok with homeless crazies being given free reign to do drugs, fuck shit up, and sleep in tents are people who never have to deal with them. 100% they'll never be willing to host one in their home too. I don't know about other states but California homeless are like a fucking plague and the more you give them the more come. SF started housing homeless in a few hotels and surprise surprise more homeless started coming because they heard about it.
