Hi all,
What are the chances of Zoom tea parties becoming the norm in the future? What will this mean for larger events such as Paradiso, Street Fashion Europe, or even regular meetups?

Do you think these will be a thing of the past?

>being this dramatic
Cmon anon the first vaccine tests have already started and if all goes well, the world will have access to the new vaccine next year. You can't look forward to any events it you're dead, so I'd rather just wait this year out.

How many people do you think will seriously jump at getting a brand new vaccine with no studies on long term effects?

>>10384896
That's why you have the poor people test them out 1st

Most people. Not sure if you realize it yet but they will be mandatory at some point to get back to work/travel.
Any to follow op's prompt, I dont think there will be zoom tea parties because the fun is getting food made for you and drinking fancy stuff. Most people do not bake well enough to change that, as well as the obvious issues with zoom as a platform and reliability. Its only fun atm because we cant do anything else but video chatting still sucks.

I can see some events struggling because of financial issues, but I cannot see them affecting the events that are established. Like that Vegas one likely is DOA, but other groups should be fine if they are get their money back for this year and obviously if the organizers are ok. There is always going to be people who want to travel.

I think the risk groups will definitely get one regardless if it'll become mandatory. The only ones who won't go for it are those who can't get vaccines in general due to medical reasons and insane anti-vaxxers

At some point this virus will burn out. Why on earth would people avoid each other after that. Do you GENUINELY think the normies will never sports again? Seriously think about how over dramatic

this. and even if people did initially, it would go back to normal soon enough. this isn't the first pandemic in the world, and this happens more often in asia and nothing ever changes.

>everything will be fine once a completely rushed vaccine will be available for a virus that currently has almost 4000 strains
>a virus will "burn out"
Thank god I'm a lonelita.

The virus will burn out if there are no people infected or to infect, why is that so hard to understand?

Anon, a lot of those strains have already existed and run their course. Some have been have been pandemics and others not. None have persisted indefinitely. Last time I checked SARS didn’t cancel all of lolita

I can’t imagine why no one would want to talk to an over dramatic idiot

No, not most people with a brain, and the govt can't make something mandatory when there's no knowledge of long term effects. They would get sued to high hell in the future if the vaccine ends up having horrible effects years later.
