Post characters you'd like to see cosplay of more often.
If they've never been done before you can just post a picture or video of the character.
Think of this as a way to potentially get somebody browsing /cgl/ interested enough in your character to cosplay them.

I know several friends who are deeply into Symphogear lore but...all of them are dudes and I think they're all Asian to boot, and too timid to crossplay/cosplay anyone to start with. Symphogear just might not attract the most cosplay-inclined crowd in the western world at least.

To be honest I think the first few episodes are to blame.
It starts off seeming like a grimdark Madoka clone and only really changes once Chris shows up.
I think https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjlnOSAB36g&feature=youtu.be&t=28 was the first fight I really liked in season 1 which was like 6 episodes in.
It doesn't help that the season naming is retarded(Symphogear -> G -> GX -> AXZ -> XV).

I've only seen Japanese people cosplay him, but they all look awful. They either wear a paper-mache mask or wear a shit ton of makeup. Plus they're always way too skinny. A simple plump looking guy (or at least a guy who stuffs his outfit) with no makeup would do just fine, imo.

More Kamen Rider / toku characters that aren't just people in Power Rangers spandex. As far as I know, I'm the only person who ever does proper Kamen Rider costumes in my country because people always tell me I'm the first they've seen in however many years they have been attending cons.
