The weirdest part about that is the Aspergers kid who cosplayed as Toni Cipriani (and later Tuxedo Mask) was not really a creep.
He was young though, said he was 19 back in 2013 and said he was turning 20 in June, and when I saw him again in 2017, he was 24.
He was socially inept and he could occasionally be obnoxious but he didn't creep on anyone to my knowledge.
I hung out with him and his friends since I knew one of them before and they all seemed to be a cool group. Besides, it's always cool to see GTA cosplayers, especially ones who cosplay as the characters from the lesser-known games like Liberty City Stories like this guy did.
Not gonna lie, I feel bad for those autists and spergs who actually try their best to be normal but just miss the mark. The kid I'm talking about had good personal hygiene, always showered and groomed, etc. but he wasn't good at the art of conversation, even though he wanted to be friendly. But when other people would point out he was being obnoxious or he had a social faux pas, he would always apologize and reel it back in. Poor kid.
According to his Black Butler cosplayer friend, he was one of those weird kids whose parents got him diagnosed and treated early enough so he could learn the basics and try his best, but he also had bipolar (he takes meds IIRC) and he still got treated like shit in high school and in the real world, so he had a strange guilt complex and always went out of his way to be a good person. Not in a "Nice Guy" sort of way, more like a sweet kid who just wants his friends to be happy. Poor kid.
I always wondered whatever happened to him.
Last time I went to the convention where I met him (he apparently was a local and a yearly regular) his parents got divorced and he moved in with his dad in West Virginia or something and nobody's heard from him since. He also seemed to be a big LARP and RPG sperg on top of also being a weeb from what others said about him.
