It might not be entirely about likes, but maybe an "in" with the group of other lolitas, plus in my opinion, comments are more validating than likes. There are more hobbies to show off than urbexing, so why is every hobby photo on COF of someone urbexing?
Bandwagoning does not have to be a large group of people. It can be a smaller group, you can bandwagon off a group of your friends.
The whole point of posting urbex photos is to show off a hobby, but it doesn't prove you're really genuinely invested in that hobby. Like I said, it's hard to tell who's really interested in something when they're doing the exact same thing others have done many times before them.
I'm not gonna reply after this, because I don't want to shit this thread up too much. There are other ways to create photos that feel artistic than doing the same thing others have done. People might take my mention of her as an opportunity to shit on her, but toddler chan has a really artistic, cool website where she shows off her outfits. I know the girl in the pic posts here, I think her outfits are fine, she posted a cool photo of her at a carnival. I hope she keeps posting photos like that rather than bandwagon photos.
