I think it's less often the style newbies are drawn too, especially when some of the brands have higher price points and more limited sizes compared to sweet ones.

Well, I wear this style and I treat it as a daily style, so I like to keep it natural. I don't like feeling too fake, if that makes sense? So that means natural hair and face - of course decently styled - but nothing over the top. As you might guess, things repeat itself with a simple styling over time. People online began to notice and nitpicked as to why I'm so simple and not living to my full potential etc. and it just fucking annoyed me. I don't really care about online validation and that's why I stopped sharing online.

I'm a newb who was drawn into lolita because of traditional classic. It's a shame to see it's not very popular but I definitely prefer it to the other styles. Luckily there's another girl in my local comm who is into it too so she is giving me lots of good pointers as I start my collection. I could never get into daily lolita wear because of my job and lifestyle but I would love to have nice classic coords to wear on special occasion.

That's too bad anon. I like simple coordinates because I wear lolita everyday, and I never really dress over the top, either. I find the ways people dress down for work and school while still maintaining a clear silhouette and elegance very inspiring. it makes me sad that people look down on less polished daily outfits. But what can you do?
