This might not be perfect to anyone but me, but every time I feel like I'm losing inspiration, I go through my folders to find this again.
The tall hair reminds me of the styling in JetJ ads, and the whole picture represents all those slightly unpolished daily lolita posts to me that I used to scroll for hours when I was getting fresh into the fashion, awful picture quality and all.

Storytime: I found lolita through a now dead gothic clothing shop based in the U.K. called Dracinabox when I was in 8th/9th grade (a full 14 yrs ago, holy crap). Grew up in a religious household so I wasn't allowed to wear goth fashion and spent a lot of time windowshopping online.
I loved the youthful storybook vibes of gothic lolita but mistakenly thought it was just a substyle of western goth fashion being pioneered by this U.K. indie brand. I didn't know it was called gothic lolita either so I probably would have found the LJ communities a hell of a lot sooner if I did.
Years later, as an adult, I was googling for items that captured the dark doll-like fairytale look that grabbed me and by some magic string of keywords I found pic related

Her flat-lays are amazing, and when the pieces fit her, she looks amazing too.
Some of her pieces definitely don't fit her very well.
I think it's because some older pieces she owns are notoriously small and though she's not fat at all, they just don't fit properly.
I have the same problem and I'm on the smaller side myself (xs western size), sometimes I have trouble fitting older brand pieces (jackets and skirts mainly).
It just doesn't look good when you cram yourself into something.

This girl is the reason I started wearing lolita in the first place. The picture is from some crappy convention 2006 before Instagram and all that Jazz and ngl but I'm like legit sad that I can't find any more pictures of her except those from that convention.She was one of those that wore lolita pretty much all the time, she had brand which was huge deal back then (at least in that country).
