The best of lolita and the best of cgl (relating to lolita/jfash).

Post your favourite stories, screencaps, and other feel-good stuff. How has lolita made your life better? Had any good experiences on cgl? Let it all out

>Had any good experiences on cgl?
Cgl was actually the first social media platform I encountered for lolita. I can't even begin to count off the amount of shit I've learned from you salty gulls, from shopping services to lace quality to coord basics.

Cgl has helped me identify several dresses, and has even helped me find and look for several dream dresses. Every email I've received from a gull helping me locate a piece is something I treasure.

I've had so many positive experiences with gulls, as awful as it can sometimes get here the good stuff is enough to keep me coming back.

>> No.10095120

>>10094982
If it was dirty, damaged or worn out I‘d agree. But Lolita dresses look detailed and expensive. Any „thrifty“ person should see that donating it, gifting it or modifying it would be smarter. How can a ironing board be the better choice? You don‘t cut up a wedding dress to make towels.

>> No.10095221

>>10094880
I remember this. It caused so much shit with people who couldnt believe someone actually did this.

>>10095120
People who are that "thrifty" tend to not have a whole lot of experience with expensive clothes.
Also, read up on how anon described her dad's fiancee, she sounded like someone who was super old fashioned and homely

Does somehappen to have screencaps of that cookie brooch incident when anon discovered that it was a real cookie?
