I have no hate for the game because they are quite fun to play casually. But every cosplayer and fan I have encountered from this fandom have been some of the most obnoxious weebs. This is why I stopped liking final fantasy and stopped cosplaying from it. The fans simply don’t know how to chill on the obsession.

I was a bit disappointed that she was only a mini boss. She looked so freaking cool. they could of had her watching the entire time they were in the store and then lashed out at the end as an unsold toy because they're too busy with video games or something like that.

The weird thing is, individually all the parts of this cosplay work. Wig is good enough, soras eyes are blue, he has thick lashes like that, he smiles big....

But somehow all of this combined together makes a terrifying cosplay. Maybe if he had gone with a softer blue contact lens??? I’m not sure.....but would like to see more pictures from this guy. Maybe it’s the angle or the edits??? I’m really trying to figure out why this is so terrifying

imo it's because the blue of the contacts is too light and he's opening his eyes way too wide and smiling too wide. also, the wig is ok, but because he has a longer face, it needed more volume at the top and the bangs needed to be thicker. basically more volume all around the wig would have helped a lot imo.

This one has leather elements too and is fully boned. Cosplayer posted that she was concerned about the lack of ability to breathe in a tightly boned corset during the shoot.

Luckily all the elements combined, she was still safe and made a great shoot.

One of the craziest things ive experienced from the kingdom hearts fandom is how people just straight up lie. I’ve run into cosplayers who’ve told me there official character models for square (keep in mind they were in unstyled wigs and easily 150 pounds
Too heavy), like five years ago someone told me they played all of kh3 because their dad worked for square, and someone even told me their modeling pictures served as the inspiration for Kairi. I’m not sure but I’m willing to bet the were five when the game came out. I have no idea what it is with kingdom hearts cosplayers but they’re the only ones I’ve experienced lying like this.

I remember way back when KH2 came out we had a new nerd join our lunch table. We were planing our first con trip that summer and I mentioned I was going to do Kairi. He said I didn't fit her character. We decided to have a KH nerd off to see who knew KH better. I kicked his ass at the questions and he never sat with us at lunch again.

Xion has been my favorite to cosplay though. I'm close to the end and I've seen the ending screen shots of her new outfit so I may do it for my summer con since I no longer have the jacket.

I know a KH cosplayer where kingdom hearts is literally their life to the point it damaged relationships they had. A friend got them a half paopu friendship charm and they had a meltdown because they saw it as a serious commitment proposal.

Something about people that really love kingdom hearts is fucked up. They REALLY believe and live by the themes in the game. For anyone relatively normal this is weird.

Like, even though I usually wouldn’t care if someone gave me a paopu charm, if that’s person giving it to me was a huge kh fan to the point of being influenced by the philosophy of the game, I feel like I would think there’s more meaning to it and get a little freaked out because of what they were implying.

To sum it up- I wouldn’t care about getting the charm unless I thought the person giving it to me put weight on it.

no fake tan looks like shit. Either pay the $20 for a spray tan (less streaky than stuff you'd do at home, check local papers for a coupon to one near you) or do some tanning bed stuff which takes 2-4 months to build up a good tan.
As for the bald cap, just get good with makeup.
