>Cosplayers are slutty, generally. At least, the ones who do lots of cosplays for every major con every year are.
In my experience, most are pretty prudish. At least the ones that look good. So many thirsty males in the scene make the girls quickly learn how to keep their defences up. Though yes, the scene itself is pretty sex-positive and yes you do have hook-ups happen.
>There's tons of drugs in the scene. Especially at the raves.
There's drugs at every rave, my friend.
>Lots of "room parties" that end up with underage chicks getting shitfaced drunk, and getting raped a lot too.
Depends on the con, but yes that does happen. But while there might be lots of room parties at certain cons, a lot of those parties are just friends hanging out and drinking. No one actually wants to deal with some baby puking in their hotel rooms. You may think it's a common occurrence because when a minor does get carted away on an ambulance for alcohol poisoning, it becomes the talk of the town lol.
>Most of the girls at the raves hook up with random guys.
Like I said above. Anime raves are just like any raves + more awkward dancing.
>Photographers are shady and creepy as fuck. Especially the notable west coast ones.
There are creeps and there are non-creeps. Some people genuinely like doing cosplay photography. But if you're a creep looking to cozy up with hot chicks, you might pick up photography as a means to do so. Nothing makes a man hustle like thirst. Which is why there might be a disproportionate amount of shady individuals among photogs, I guess. But the ones in my circle are pretty chill.
>Most cosplayers have BPD or some other sort of cluster B mental illness, and daddy issues are the norm rather than the exception.
Dunno about those mental illnesses in particular, but I do know a lot of folk with anxiety and/or depression. But it's a thing that correlates more with anime as a hobby than cosplay as a hobby in my opinion.
