The cosplay conventions I have been to, one thing that they have in common is "that guy" in a deadpool cosplay being/acting obnoxious. I wanted to know if it's a phenomenon there is presented in other countries than Denmark.

I know your pain. They're everywhere. Anytime I try to have a good time with some friends, an obnoxious Deadpool comes and ruins everything and makes it awkward for everyone before he runs away, off to annoy someone else.

The dragoncon parade usually has an entire section of obnoxious deadpool cosplayers.

In the USA, people like to not just dress up like Deadpool and act like assholes, but many of them like to do mashups with other characters, so you see tOtAlLy rAnDoM RAWR XD stuff like Harley Quinn Deadpool or jedi deadpool. I have no idea if people in other countries feel they have to do that but it’s a thing here.

I try to ignore them but a lot of them want to harass people because they thought it was funny when they saw someone else do it on YouTube.

Russia confirm Deadpool retards here as well. Every con, year by year, nothing changes. Every time you see some Deadpool guy you can say it totally jerk who think it is fun to annoy everybody. Girls here think it is fun as well though and always love some jerks, so I doubt if it's just me such grumpy person who does not get the mood of conventions. Maybe I just too old for this shit.

I know of two annoying deadpool characters. One of them brings an Elmo puppet and makes a botched attempt at an Elmo impression (BECAUSE GOD FORBID HE JUST MAKE THAT HIS SHTICK INSTEAD OF SOME POP CULTURE ABORTION) and another guy who is really obnoxious with him being deadpool. And the thing is to is that they both just want to make people laugh and have a good time, but sometimes it's just too much.

I honestly have never cosplayed as anything and I'm not even a board regular. I like how much fun people are having all dressed up and want to join them one day too. This is from years back at a smaller local con but I distinctly remember a guy got taken away by the cops when he revealed to everyone he got near that the katana he was using was makeshift with a real edge and all because he thought props were lame and he was fucking deadpool.

Ireland here. Only went to one con this year, and the one DP I saw was totally chill. He sat here swinging his legs and chatting to people that approached him. There were plenty of obnoxious spergs, being obnoxious at that con, but not this guy.

There's being in character and there's being a fullblown arse. What most of those "lulz but it's in character" DP's forget is that this is not their precious comic book, it's the real world. And some things are NOT acceptable in real life.

Learn some fucking common sense and public decency instead of using "in character" as an excuse to be an absolute dick that deserves to get kicked out of every con.

Good luck trying to explain to law enforcement you were being in character, see how far that gets you.
