The stock pic for the brown isn't too bad. Mana's make up would still ook really out of place on modern sweet or classic, maybe ott sweet or old school sweet if you really nailed it. Insta make up can work if you're wearing a dark dramatic outfit, tone it down to suit the style, change it to fit your face, and you're only wearing it for a photoshoot but usually it it just puts all the attention on your face in a bad way. Same as if you went without make up, just on the opposite extreme. Instead of J-goth I'd say it's much closer to deathrock make up. Bold and somewhat samefacey because it's a very narrow structured style that doesn't change much based on skin tone or facial features.

There's some reasoning behind some of it, with summer stuff the fake vests make more sense as it removes a layer (usually the back is only one layer instead of two), so it's lighter and more breathable. Other times they're combined so people who are lazy and like a single dress don't have to hunt for coordinating pieces (kind of like how some people think skirts are difficult to coord with now).

Maybe it makes everyone else assume people are generally wearing onepieces instead of layering items anymore, idk.
