Bless you for this thread, OP.
>Have you ever made a coord with peeking bloomers?
I don't make single separated coords because that's not how my wardrobe works lol, but I do love wearing drawers that peek under my knee length dresses, when the weather is colder.
>What's your overall opinion of peeking bloomers?
Love them. Love them so much. I don't know what it is about them that makes them so charming but I think they're adorable, whether you can see nothing more than lace or several cms of the hems like in pic related.

I think one of the reasons why they're so cute is that they're very doll-like and are something that used to be commonly worn but is not out of date. Kind of feels like you're continuing on a part of history.

I feel this on a primal level. They're just so cute. So inexplicably charming. It's really a shame that the trend kind of died off.

this so much. I was trying to explain what I love so much about bloomers to someone not interested in historical dress or j-fashion and I was sounding like a fucking weirdo. in the end I settled for "look, they're really warm ok?".
They're such a delicate and lovely part of historical clothing. I'm saving up for an aatp pair, it's like the same price as a second hand main piece but they're irresistible.

I have, it's super cute. I think they're great. Bloomers in general are just great, they give you a bit more lift in your skirt, keep you warm, prevent the wind showing your ass if your skirt blows around, hide the tops of your socks, keep everything cleaner, and add more interest to an outfit.

I LOVE peeking bloomers in old school. I don't think it really looks right in most modern Lolita coords, but one exception to that is country lolita.

And do you have any offbrand reccomendations?

meta's raschel lace bloomers are my favorite.

I do not recommend f+f long bloomers unless you plan on changing the lace... the lace I received on mine was HORRIBLE. granted, I knew it might not be the same as in the pictures, as this was stated, but it also stated that it would be the same quality lace... mine was shiny and scratchy and literal shit. I've heard people recommend little dipper for bloomers, but have never bought a pair of my own. I honestly have only had luck with brand bloomers. I have several simple lucky pack bloomers from meta (none of which are long enough to peek, but they are very good quality), and a long pair of Baby torchon lace bloomers, and my meta raschel lace bloomers.

>> No.9996268

>>9996249
I think most people don't have an issue with her size or the way she looks. It's more that she doesn't dress for her body shape. She has amazing coording skills but they often go wasted on boob-loafed or too-tightly fitting dresses. Another thing she does is using unnecessary belts or dresses with front corset lacing which really accentuate her apple shape in a bad way.
