Navy/green tartan, originally bought second hand in "C" condition from wunderwelt due to frayed laces, bent boning and general wear.

I have fixed the first two issues by trimming the laces, and replaced the bent plastic boning with flat 1/4" steels/laid steel over plastic in one area that was going to be too difficult to get the plastic out of. Worn twice since I bought it and washed prior to replacing the boning. I'd say the maximum waist on it is about 68cm and ribcage/top of the corset area 78cm from flat external measurements.

Sorry anon, it already sold but I wouldn't recommend it at your measurements. It had a comfortable/slightly large look on me at 90cm bust and 70cm waist- could go WAY larger but not much smaller. On my mannequin which was 86cm bust it was kinda hanging off of it, but the waist ties really do a lot in terms of making it smaller.

If the buyer is serious they will offer a deposit for the hold and will understand if it's non-refundable, even if it's just $20. If they want the dress badly they'll make sure you're not selling it to anyone before them.

The longest hold I ever asked for w/o deposit was 2 days because payday was coming up and it was more logical to wait. I was set up that if they said no or wanted to sell it to someone else that would be fine, but most pieces will sit on LM for a few days.

If it's been 5 days with no communication and no deposit, relist it and message them. It might not even be sold by the time they respond.

This. Ive listed things kind of high because i wasnt in any hurry and figured everyone waits to buy until it says "Sale" anyway, and ive had those dresses sell in minutes.

I had to pay 60 euros taxes and fees on a 20000 yen purchase from closet child. It was ~18% and then a handling fee. Most of my buyers are in my own country and if they are buying brand, they have the money and will pay and the poorer ones will only buy taobao. Plus we dont risk damages due to slow shipping times or need to deal with getting to the customs office, personally mine is a 20 min walk from the train station and a friend said hers is only accessible by car, randomly off the side of a highway.

Ive noticed shipping within the US has gotten pricier too. Shipping to the US (without full insurance but with tracking is 20 bucks) but ive seen US sellers charge 20 bucks a dress to ship within the US. If we want to buy a dress from a US buyer, its usually $50-60 for shipping and if they dont mark it down and as gift, we went up having to pay VAT and handling fees on a used dress. Not to mention sometimes that $60 shipping fee counts towards the $150 or 200 max for a gift without paying fees and shipping time can take a while.

That being said, there are crazy overpricers. Normally i feel alright charging up to 20 euros more than the US listings prices because i know euros will pay it without the hassle of dealing with non EU purchases.

Popular examples include princess prints or Alice in Wonderland themed outfits. Brands design collaborations with mascots and anime frequently, and costume-ish lolita is as much of a sub-genre as any.
