I wish cosplay would be more nitpicky tho? Honestly, too many cosplayers are too much into quantity and not enough into quality. Most rather have 20 shitty Aliexpress outfits that look horribly cheap and are bad fitting than spend money into one that's really good. Not to forget the cheap cosplay wigs that often don't only look like crap, but aren't styled properly either. Honestly, most cosplayers I've seen in real life look like a bunch of weebs with no life nor selfrespect.

Only the photo is sharper so you can actually see the quality of the lace, she hdies her face so no bad make-up showing, and the shadow on the blouse hides how weird that blouse fits on her, and how it doesn't fit at all with the skirt (because you can't see the design much). Hiding negative things and actually having a sharp enough picture to see the few nice ones doesn't make the coord better, only the picture. Don't be fooled.

It still looks weird because that is one of meta's smaller skirts paired with a really baggy, frumpy blouse. Also the black and the red of the skirt look bad because they're two solid blocks of color with nothing to tie them together. It would look better if she followed the example of the other coord posted and lost the black elements, got a more fitted blouse the same color as the lace on the skirt and actually tucked the blouse in. The skirt itself might be old, but that doesn't automatically make it appropriate for the type of frumpy old school look she's going for.
