Japan is hell to get stimulant medications in when you are not a natural born citizen. Even then, it's pretty difficult.

Also, there are a number of reasons why someone wouldn't respond well to stimulants. I have narcolepsy and it took me years to find the right stimulant that wouldn't make me have chest pains and constant vomiting. Some people can't take stimulants at all and have to manage the best they can without medication.

There's no decent market for plus-sized (like, really huge 4XL sizes) -- even her precious Bodyline is pulling back from stocking all their stuff in size 4XL and come in limited, smaller sizing now, because it's not even as profitable as they think it is. If you go back to the archives, many people on here would bring up the clock print as an ita dress. It was constantly in the ita thread, so it became an iconic ita magnet. So many tasteless "steampunk" coordinates were done with it. And with steampunk lolitas most of them were the variety that hotglued gears onto everything, made their coords brown and generally spent more time writing up thousand-word essays describing in great loving detail the awesomeness of the imaginary steampunk persona that they play pretend as, rather than spend actual time or energy into coording decently.

Then there's that one actually competent seamstress who bought bodyline dresses to resew into decent dress, she actually did do a good job with the clock print.

When I was reading it it didn’t really feel like she was promoting, it was just more like she genuinely thought Claire’s had ripped off one of shinkus designs. like not really knowledgeable about how the world of marketing and mass producing works. but she seemed pretty dumb anyways, just a bad post to begin with.

Ofc that makes sense based on how clothing businesses are almost all organized around ready-to-wear releases. On the other hand, you can alter your clothing to make them fit you. But ofc, this requires work and/or money. I wish people would rather alter their dresses instead of busting their seams and not looking good in them.
